The cottage (Sunset Cottage by the Sea) sits on 1/2 acre lot across the street from the Ocean (Pacific). This lovely 2 bedroom cottage is brand new. It is located at Gower Point (just outside Gibsons). This is a perfect opportunity to experience the beautiful west coast sunsets from a very large deck. There is a roadway between the cottage and the water. The beach area in front of the Cottage is a bit rocky, but a great place to set up some folding chairs, relax and enjoy as the sunsets. There is plenty of room to have a BBQ on the deck, watch cruise ships sail past on their way to Alaska. You may even catch sight of an Eagle or two on the branches over head in the Douglas Fir Trees on the property.
Just down the road is a sand bar which has been forming for the past 10 years. On a sunny day you will see families out for picnic on the sand, or relaxing sunning themselves, or just taking advantage to wonderful ocean water.
Ocean Beach Esplanade is a dead end road and on any given day you will see lots of friendly people out for their walk. People come from all over the area to walk their dogs, their children and themselves and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Owner Description
I have been going to this property for over 40 years. The property was previously owned by my aunt & uncle and my wife Margot and I inherited the property in 2002. We have four children and they have grown up coming to this property, and love it as we do.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
When life gets too busy and we require some peace and quiet, we will climb on the Ferry at Horseshoe Bay and take the 40 minute ride to Langdale, then a 15 minute drive to the house and Peace and Quiet is all around. Sunset Cottage makes a great location from which to sight see just about any location on the Sunshine Coast.
