Enjoy a breath-taking ride on the Great Smoky Mountain railroad or strike it rich panning for gold or gems at one of many area mines. Great food, and shopping, too
Or choose to just relax and do nothing at all. Rock the day away on the large wrap-around deck or unwind in the private covered hot tub. This location is a great romantic getaway. Great for the small family, as well. Satellite TV and free long distance provide the conveniences of home in this remote, peaceful setting.

Why the Owner Chose Sylva
Our cabin is not in a tourist area, but actually in a "locals" area. This provides a very private, quiet environment. Close enough but far away...
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
79 Big Rock is tucked away on the side of a mountain at 4000 ft., with state forest land just over the ridge. In the summer enjoy cool days with highs in the mid 70's and lows in the 50's. In the winter months the covered hot tub is a fabulous place to relax and listen to the wind roar through the valley.

My wife and I were born and raised in sunny South Florida, but have been drawn to the mountains of Western North Carolina. Mountain life is incredible and we enjoy the opportunity to relax and unwind. Our cabin location is off the beaten path and provides us and our guests with a "local" feel and a quiet and restful getaway.
