This house is exactly what you would expect of a luxurious custom home located slope side of a large ski resort. It is a very large home, but is very functional. We designed the layout with families in mind. The house can easily accommodate 3 or 4 full families. As such, there are 4 bedrooms for adults and 2 amazing bunk rooms that the kids will love. Each bunk room sleeps 8 comfortably with 2 sets of queen over queen beds in each bunk room. Each bunk bed has its own flat screen for DVD or video games. Enjoy the elevator to make it between any of the 4 levels. Elevator is especially helpful when arriving/leaving, after shopping, with elderly/handicapped, and when you are just tired and/or want to play on the elevator.

I can't explain how close you are to the slopes. I am not exaggerating when I say that you will ski on and off of the patio directly to and from the large ski room with ski benches and furniture grade ski lockers.

Other amazing amenities include: private large hot tub; stone fireplace/fire pit on patio; dedicated media room with large theater screen and individual custom leather seats; wine cellar; study with flat screen TV and computer with WiFi access throughout house; billiard room with abundant seating, mounted flat screen TV and separate wet bar, ice maker, and microwave. refrigerator, dishwasher.

ENTRY LEVEL (sleeps 8): 2 car garage; mud room; "boys bunk"; media room; "popcorn bar" with custom cabinets and individual refrigerator; mechanical room

Level 2 (sleeps 6): Master 1 and 2 each have large king beds, wet bars with sinks, coffee makers and individual refrigerators, large mounted HD-satellite flat screens with DVD, and custom bath/showers with steam unit; Additional large bedroom with queen bed and mounted flat screen TV, separate bath, and large closet; also on this floor are billiard room; wine cellar; additional full bath/shower.

Level 3 (sleeps 8): Huge custom kitchen with 2 amazing islands- one for cooking, one for seating for 8; dual sub-zeros; Wolf gas cook top, pantry, Wolf double oven; Large great room with parallel beams connected by large steel beams, large windows looking out over ski chutes/ski run, custom made dining table for 8; ski room with access directly off of ski-patio complete with custom furniture grade ski lockers/ski benches, separate bath/shower, and wash-sink, washer/dryer. Ski patio is feet from the slopes and has ski-rack, large gas grill, stone seating, 9 seat private hot tub, and large stone fireplace/fire pit.

Level 4 (sleeps 2): This is the "birds-nest" master which occupies this entire level and has private patio overlooking slopes, mounted HD satellite flat screen with DVD and iPod dock, 2 separate wet-bar areas with sink, refrigerator, custom cabinets, and coffee maker; Amazing bathroom with killer views of village, mountain, and ski-chutes and includes steam shower with 3 shower heads plus jets; separate jetted bathtub; extra-large master-closet with separate washer/dryer.

    • Gas Fireplace (5) : These are all beautifully wrapped in stone; one in great room; one in master; one each in mini-master 1 and 2; one on outside patio as a "firepit".
    • Elevator: This is an incredible feature. Make loading and unloading of luggage and shopping supplies a breeze. No huffing and puffing up several flights of stairs. If you have handicapped/injured or elderly guests, they will be able to move about the house with ease

    • Queen Bed (9) : One queen in additional bedroom on level 2; 8 of the queens are part of queen over queen double bunk rooms in "boys bunk room" and "girls bunk room"; Each mattress is top of the line (even the bunk rooms); All bedding is what you would expect at a luxurious home or hotel.
    • Bunk Bed (4) : 4 queen over queen bunk beds (that's 8 queen beds). These are furniture grade built-ins with wrought iron rails and sturdy wood ladders; each bed has its own LCD TV that plays DVD or video games

Year Purchased: 2008

David and Laura Bobb are long time residents of Norman, Oklahoma. We have 2 children who love to ski and snowboard. We love coming to Colorado whenever possible. We always come to Copper Mountain.

Why the Owner Chose Lewis Ranch

We have been skiing Copper since the late 80's and keep coming back. We bought a condo in Center Village in 2005, but when an opportunity to buy a custom home in Slopeside in Lewis Ranch came up, we took the leap. The house turned out as amazing as we thought it would. Being in the gated community of Lewis Ranch has obvious advantages, while still being close to the action of the village. Being able to ski on/off of the porch is priceless.

The Unique Benefits of this Custom Home

We love being secluded in the gated community of Lewis Ranch, while still being able to walk down into the village to enjoy a great meal, ice cream, ice skating, shopping, or any multitude of available activities in the village. We love owning our own land with a yard. Most of all, we love being directly on the slopes.
