Not what we expected

Upon arrival, we were very disappointed to find that the photos on the website did not at all accurately reflect the actual rental. Our studio apartment rental was more like a small single room with a tiny nook kitchenette. I contacted the agent for the rental and was told that they represented several units in the same building and that the photos were only indicative of the "general" appearance for all. I was also told that the pictured unit was a deluxe unit. I had not been told that during the rental process. In addiltion, I wished I had enquired about the noise level. London is a big city and our unit was facing a very busy street. The noise level was very loud and made for difficult sleeping. The only other comment I have is that the unit came with twice-per-week cleaning service. There was no guaranteed days for cleaning, and it turned out that our unit was cleaned on the first and last days of our 7-day stay. The period between cleaning was difficult because we had no way to empty our trash bins, get new toilet paper, etc. The cleaning service schedule should have been better managed. On the positive side, our rental was located in a central and interesting part of London. We had easy tube access. Also, the agent for this property was prompt with responses when we contacted her, and very polite. However, we had no resolution to our issues and ultimately would not recommend this rental.
