This cozy cottage is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. There is almost no traffic on the road. The water is very clear and you can swim right from the beach and dock. I enjoyed fishing right from the dock with my children - there were plenty of fish to catch! The cottage was VERY clean and VERY well equipped. We ended up packing a little heavy and there are some stairs to carry things up so check with the owner before brining redundant equipment. The owner is a GREAT person and landlord. She was very quick to communicate back and very easy to work with. We really enjoyed the owner!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This cozy cottage is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. We enjoyed relaxing on the private beach at the water's edge and kayaking on this beautiful lake! We also had time to visit several wineries in the area. The owner was friendly and easy to work with and we found the cottage as advertised - very clean, well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. We also enjoyed the patio/deck overloking the lake - fantastic views and gorgeous sunsets!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

I keep finding myself drawn back to this same spot on Canandaigua Lake! Of all the places I have stayed ... this is my favorite!! Great for swimming, kayaking and hiking to mention a few. The hospitality and cleanliness is exceeded by none! I can't wait till next year!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

My husband and I booked this last minute for a stay in the Finger Lakes. It was a great place, the cabin was just the right size for 2 people, had Dish TV service, a private beach area with firepit, dock and kayak and a beautiful view of the lake. The owner was easy to work with both via email and in person, she was there to greet us and offered to take our bags to the cabin in her little tractor. It should be noted that there are a number of steps to get to the cabin from the parking area and also to the beach, plus the ladderstairs up to the bed. Area was very quiet and easy to get to other lakes.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, adventure seekers.
