  We had a wonderful family holiday in this fantastic house. The house was impeccably clean, modern, stylish decor, fantastic backyard with large pool and beautiful view. We stayed with our family of four including 2 young children (4 and 2) and my parents. From the outset, Gael made our stay easy. He was very welcoming and attentive from booking to check-out. Nothing was too much trouble - our request for a multi-region dvd player was even accommodated. The house is centrally located -we went out to South Beach most evenings, and found it very easy to get around, The local beach - 2 minute drive-was perfect for the kids. There is a 'tot lot'/playground only a couple of blocks away, which the kids loved, but the winner was our own fantastic swimming pool. It was lovely and warm the whole time and was kept clean with regular maintenance visits throughout our 2 week stay. We made use of the barbeque and the great space for outdoor dining. Kitchen is fully equipped and Publix is VERY close. For shopping, the Bal Harbour shops are only a 3 minute drive with Aventura Mall only about 20 minutes away. We highly recommend this great house to families of all ages (perfect for those with kids or without) and hope to come back again ourselves.

  My family (parents, in-laws, sister and boyfriend, husband, infant son and I) spent a week here in late Feb. For our large and mixed crew, the house was perfect. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the distance between each bedroom gave everyone some privacy. The house was clean and the kitchen was well-appointed. The owner and his team were polite, helpful, and flexible with our late-night arrival. The house was a quick walk to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Although the weather was warm, we especially enjoyed the heated pool. The canal view was also really great -- we watched stingrays and dolphins right off the dock. We can't wait to come back next year!

  Our family (6 adults and 2 children ages 2 1/2 and 3 months) stayed at this home over Christmas week and had an absolutely wonderful time. Great location in a newly gentrified neighborhood in Surfside with many families and upscale homes (2 streets over form prestigious and heavily fortified Indian Creek Island). The location is also ideal for families with young children as it is located just 2 blocks from the "Hawthorne Tot Lot", an amazing playground with lots of toys, slides, swings and climbing equipment. We took our son there everyday and he had a blast. Beach is a comfortable walking distance, but we mostly enjoyed the water outside our back door - the pool and view of the bay. The owner Olivier was very responsive when the pool heater wasn't working and had it fixed the next day, and also ensured that the child safety fence was properly installed between the patio and pool. We spent a lot of time outdoors, enjoying meals on the large outdoor dining table, swimming, relaxing on the lounge chairs, and watching the boats go by. The kitchen is well equipped with upscale appliances, including gas stove and a very quiet dishwasher. We had all the essentials to make a big Christmas supper with turkey and all the trimmings. Lots of room to gather downstairs for our large family. Beautiful master suite downstairs with amazing views and huge soaking tub. Upstairs, the room decor in the three bedrooms was sparse - basically just beds and white walls (if the upstairs rooms were a bit more inviting, I would bump my review up to 5 stars). There are 4 bathrooms in this house, one shared bath and one en-suite bath upstairs, and the master bath and powder room downstairs. For families with children, the owner can provide a pack n' play (he calls it a crib) and highchair. We found the pack n'play to be too uncomfortable for our little one to sleep in, so suggest bringing your own portable crib. We also left a Fisher Price vibrating chair there for future renters. All in all, a wonderful stay - my 2 year old son enjoyed it so much that when we returned home to New York, he cried that he wanted to go back to our "other home."

  This house was wonderful for my family (two married sons, their wives and a 2 1/2 year old and one 6 months. We enjoyed the large kitchen with various prepartion areas, the outside eating area, the safety screen to keep the children separated from the pool area. We made use of the pool and even though we do not have a boat, we sunbathed on the dock. We loved the location being close to South Beach and Lincoln Road and close the the supermarket Publix at 94th street. I recommend this property.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.
