You can be in the "heart" of it all without the high costs and busyness of being in the "heat" of it all. The home is occupied by its Owners at various times throughout the year, with the result that it is always maintained in excellent condition.
In as much as we have not rented this home until this year (2009), our goal is to find those families who will want to enjoy our home and all of its amenities, year to year.

Why the Owner Chose Willow Creek Highlands
We purchased our second home in 2005, and had always wanted a second home which we could use regularly. We live in Littleton, Colorado, less than an hours drive to our mountain home. Our home, built in 2003, is situated in Willowcreek Highlands, a custom community of newer homes. The street itself is a cul-de-sac so very quiet at nights. Willow Creek runs within a hundred yards of our property, the nights are clear and quiet. Around the corner from our home is an Trailhead accessing a large National Forest, waterfalls, etc. (We have hiked from Silverthorne to Vail on that trail). We have a view of Keystone Ski Resort from our our Family Room, and Copper and Breckenridge Ski Areas are nearby. Vail and Beaver Creek are within 30 minutes drive; we have all the benefits, but not the busyness of being right at the Ski Are Base. Silverthorne has a brand new Recreation Center nearby, with pools and kids slides, hot tubs, saunas, workout facilities, etc. Silverthorne also has a great Factory Outlet Mall.

My wife and I have been married 21 years and have four great kids, two at college, two still at home. Our family loves to ski/snowboard in the winter and hike/mountain bike in the summer. We enjoy the Mountains year round. We are both busy with our respective careers and are self employed, so it is a great pleasure to go up to our Mountain Home regularly, sometimes just to get away and collect our thoughts and plans. As a family, we love to travel, but we love to be at home also. We have a wall hanging in our Great room saying "A day in the mountains is worth a month in the office". It is!
