Your two families will repeatedly meander along new mountain trails, sunbathe next to a pristine lake, shoosh after each other down the many powdery slopes of nearby Sierra Summit Ski Resort. Or you could walk near the road or snowshoe through the woods one-half mile to one of Shaver Lake towns espresso shops.
