Close enough to Campo dei Fiori, but tucked away at the end of a private courtyard! Within a minute's walk of the excitement of the market but quiet and private. The apartment was spacious with modern furnishings. Valeria from the property management company was extremely helpful and friendly - . Would highly recommend this property and we will come back again! Also well within walking distance to so many of Rome's famous sites.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We truly enjoyed this apartment and our dealings with Giusy and with her Rome manager representative Valeria. The apartment had the amenities we needed and a location hard to beat. We enjoyed visiting the market at Campo de Fiori every day and dining at the sidewalk cafe restaurants that appeared around it at night. Giusy was very accommodating with our request for three nights before a cruise we were taking out of Civitavecchia, and then giving us an additional two nights upon our return from the cruise. We felt like we were coming home. It was an easy transaction all around and a wonderful stay. Thanks.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Did we mention location? Excellent location in safe secure building. Was quiet...probably 15-16th century building...cobble streets...manager Valeria was professional prompt and most helpful. Apartment could have been cleaner: regardless, we would recommend this apartment and management team. Apartment was on first floor just a short climb maybe six steps up the front stoop. One bedroom has steps to descend maybe 5-6 steps.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The apartment was exactly as advertised, and the location is perfect. We did not spend a great amount of time in the apartment, but when we were there is was exactly what we needed. Several afternoons we came back after touring and had wine and cheese there. There were four of us, an adult couple our teenage son and his girlfriend, so the sleeping accommodations were fine. Guisy was very helpful answering any and all of my questions prior to the trip, and offered many helpful tips. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. We spent many afternoons in Campo dei Fiori watching folks and enjoying the surroundings. All the attractions were within walking distance. I used the agency to also handle the transfers from the airport and back, and all went without any problems. Great place and a great city.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Dear Michael, I am so glad you enjoyed the apartment in Rome and especially your teen agers did. Wine and cheese at the end of the busy touring day....this is a great recommendation to other guests. The perfect night in Rome. Thank you for being such a great guest and I hope you will be returning soon. Giusy

We stayed at this appartment March 3 through March 9, 2013. It was a wonderful place to stay. Close to Campo Die Fiori and walking distance to all of the sites. The accomodations were great although we did not spend much time in the appartment, the time we spent there was fun. I loved getting up and walking to the market to see the vendors in the morning, getting a cafe latte and people watching. In the evening, it was nice to have a Happy Hour at one of the cafe's and or finish off the evening with a nightcap and be very close to "home". We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers, and there was plenty of room. The appartment was clean and quiet, the property manager was diligent and there were no surprises. They handled the transfers to and from the airport as well, and even accomodated a late change. When I go back to Rome, I plan to stay here again, and Guisy can offer valuable feedback on where to eat and drink.Owner response: Dear valuable guest I am so glad you love my apartment and especially the service of the management office. I will be happy to have you again and to give you a special discount as returning customer. Best, Giusy

The apartment is in a wonderful location, only 50 yards from the lively Campo de' Fiori, yet peaceful and secure. The apartment was clean and lived up to the description and photos. The service from the management team was excellent, everything from the arranged transfers to recommendations for restaurants was first class. One very small thing that would have assisted us is an extra set of keys. I would unhesitatingly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit Rome and we hope, soon, to return ourselves to visit the sites and museums that we could not fit in during this trip. Many thanks to all for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Dear Alan, thank you for your valuable feedback and I am very glad you did enjoy the location and Rome. Thanks to your feedback we got immediately an extra set of keys in the apartment. Thanks you again and enjoy your life back home. Giusy

This apartment is located in an excellant area of Rome and close to so many landmarks. The nearby markets everyday are a godsend, especially to buy fruit and veg and the restaurants are also very good. The apartment was clean and presentable - decent size for a family to stay. The kitchen is easy to use and has all the necessary equipment although it would be good if tea towels were provided. Otherwise highly recommended and I would definately stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway.

The location was fantastic...just a block off Campo de Fiori, but away from the noise and bustle. Apartment comes off a lovely courtyard, so there is little street noise. Although sparsely furnished, it functioned fine for our purpose. Beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean, attractive and in good working order. It would have been nice if the linens for the pull-out sleep sofa were kept in the apartment so we didn't have to wait a day to have the sofa made up as a bed. Also, there was a loud groaning noise in the plumbing every time a toilet was flushed, and one of the bathrooms was on the small side and lacked counter or storage space. But overall, we had a great experience and felt like the price was right and the location couldn't be beat.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Dear Giusy, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! I would love to comment on our say at your apartment but we are still in Venice but leave tomorrow. I wanted to send a quick note just to let you know that our stay in Rome was far beyond our expectations as well as your apartment. It was PERFECT, and Federica was soo helpful. I'm not sure you heard but our luggage didn't make it to Rome until our last day there, that just made for an even better story but with two teenage girls we really had to get creative. We left a curling iron there for your next guests just incase they needed it, you can keep it with the apartment. Can't say enough about how wonderful your apartment, location, and the people were! You absolutely made it possible for us to have the perfect Roman holiday!! Much Love, Gina Sent from my iPadDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Campo dei Fiori View on map
Campo dei Fiori is a beauiful square close to Navona square; It means 'field of flowers.' Since 1869 there has been a fruit and flower market that still operates every day from 6am to 2pm. The ancient fountain keeps flowers fresh. Campo dei Fiori is a popular meeting place, for both Italian and foreign, offering al fresco dining, wine bars and best coffee shops in town.

Apartment Location - Via dei Cappellari 13 View on map
The apartment is located in Via die Cappellari, a walk street off Campo dei Fiori and Navona Square. Via dei Cappellari means 'street of hat makers' as in the past it was full of hat makers stores. No cars are allowed in the area, thus it si wonderful to walk around, safe, quiet. The apartment is located on the ground floor of the 2 storey historical buidling, facing the private courtyard, accessible for owners only. The courtyard maks the apartment very unique in the area, as it is quiet and protected from the buzz of the Roman life. You will sleep very well and be very secured and quite while just few steps from the Roman life.

Manager info
Year Purchased: 2000
About: I am Italian, born in Tuscany - Siena. I lived in Rome and London for most of my life. I purchased the apartment in Rome in 2000, fully refurbished twice in 2000 and 2006. I lived there for 3 years in 2002 and loved every single day being able to walk everywhere and to sightseeing the beautiful Rome - which I consider a open-air museum. At current, I live and work in Los Angeles - with my husband Stefano, also Italian.
Why Navona:
I always loved Campo dei Fiori in Rome. It is a beautiful square, where cars are not allowed. It hosts a farmer market every day, since 1490! It is a open air museum, where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine, coffee, for hours and hours...and just steps from Vaticam , Forum, Navona Suqare...I never needed to use a car during my stay in my Rome apartment.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
I choose this loction because it is a quiet spot. Via dei Cappellari is a walk street. The apartment is located in the private building court-yard, beautiful setting. Thus it is quiet, secured, private...yet steps from the most lively sights in Rome
