  We stayed at this house for a week with two of our children. The house is very well laid out and has every convenience. It was clean and well stocked with all the essentials: beach towels, nice linens and a kitchen with everything you could need. The master suite was especially nice with views of the water and a large bathroom. Additionally it is sited on the opposite side of the house from the other bedrooms so a quiet spot can always be found. The porch overlooking the water has a large dining table and is shaded so we enjoyed it both during the day and in the evening. The owner was accessible by email and phone and was extremely gracious and accommodating to work with. The island is quiet and perfect for enjoying the beach, boating and enjoying time with your family. I would highly recommend this property.

  This is a beautiful house with all of the amenities, just steps from the beach. The house is very well maintained and everything was just like home. In March, there were very few visitors and we had the beach to entirely to ourselves as far as the eye could see. The caves are very interesting but you do have to drive to see most. Plan to buy food at the small grocery store and cook in occasionally since there are only a few restaurants. If you like a very secluded, quiet get away with few distractions, you will love this island. Fishing is beautiful but the bonefish are skittish. The children loved going on the boat with the guide to see all of the sea creatures: stingrays, starfish, conch, lemon sharks, parrot fish and more.

  Al's beach house is the real deal! The house is located on a little island, 20 flying minutes from Nassau. At first this might seem a little more complicated than your usual trip but I can assure you that the little plane ride is as simple as taking a Taxi. This small island is very laid back and and is a great place to relax and to spend time with family and friends. The local people, just like karen and Alex (owners of the house) are lovely and easy to deal with. The house is as clean as it gets and is fully equipped. You will find everything you need: Laundry machines, BBQ, Car, TV, Internet, Kayak, beach crockery etc. As you can see in the beautiful pictures, the house is well decorated and is very charming. I would suggest renting their Car as well. It is always practical to go grocery shopping and to visit different beaches. We stayed there for 2 weeks during the holidays and really had an amazing time. The beaches are astonishing and you can walk miles without seeing anybody. If you are up for the challenge, you can go spear fishing up in Shark's creek. We were lucky enough to catch a few giant lobsters for our New Years Eve Dinner! To conclude, these are really honest people and they will provide you with all the information you need for your trip. Don't hesitate to ask questions. They will be very happy to help and accommodate you. Thank you very much for everything and we hope we will be back soon!

  great house! amazing beach. Everything was clean and exactly as described. I would recommend this house to anyone. I have rented other houses on the island and this is definitely one of the best! The owner provided a terrific information packet for the island that was very helpful. Most importantly for me - the house had nice sheets, pillows, and an amazing shower! A/C, satellite TV, and kitchen were all top notch and in perfect working order.

  Karen was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She was incredibly helpful and always accessible to answer any questions we had on the island and her house. It is perfectly situated on a beautiful beach with complete privacy. One is always concerned that rentals especially in the Carribean can be put together quite sparsely and without much thought. This is not the case with this home. It has been decorated incredibly tastefully and all the comforts one might need. Everything has been very well maintained and feels quite new. It was very spacious and my family and I were blown away by this home. It is truly quite special and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a rental in the Carribean. Jamie Mulholland

  We had a wonderful time at this beautiful beach home in Great Harbor, the house is as beautiful as the picture show, well maintained, clean and beautifully decorated, the customer service the owner provided was excellent. Our party included My husband and I with our 3 children, daughter in law and 2 year old grandaughter. We went fishing, diving for lobsters, to the blue hole, ate at Flo's. We had a really good time and will definitely go back. Thank you for sharing your home...

  Karen and Alex have a beautiful home that is on a tremendous beach. The house is a "home" and not a "rental" which makes your stay a real treat. If you are looking for a fun relaxing wonderful experience, this is your place!!

  My husband and I and our three sons, ages 20,19, and 16 just returned from a week at the perfect house in the Bahamas on Great Harbor. The house was spectacular! Beautiful decorating, large rooms, top of the line kitchen and very cozy. There was a large front and rear porch to gather and the beach was beautiful. Even though the boys spent most of their time fly fishing for bonefish, they loved coming home and turning on the flat screen or listening to their ipods plugged into the incredible sound system! Karen (the owner) made everything so simple for us to enjoy this special place. We hope to go back soon. I would highly recommend this house. Karen and Peter

  Our group of 8 spent a relaxing week in this beautiful home right on the beach! This is the perfect location to get away from it all and relax and enjoy family and friends - exactly what we were looking for. A luxurious setting with views of the water from almost every room. The decor was inviting and everything was top notch. Karen and Al made the whole process enjoyable and simple. The great recommendations for dining, site seeing and flight arrangements were much appreciated. Our whole group was blown away with the location and the gorgeous home. Our sincere thanks for making this much anticipated vacation a dream come true!
