Casa Brava, a lovely private two level home, with owners living on top level, gated driveway, parking available, in cul-de-sac in a safe residential area in Luquillo, ideal for a family. Across PR 3 highway, a 10 minute walk to the beaches. Renting the entire lower floor, which consists of a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house that can sleep 6 people - 6 adults/children. Not suitable for adults needing assistance. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and private bathroom. Bedroom #2 has a queen size bed, bedroom #3 has a double bed, and bedroom #4 has a futon with double air mattress suitable for a small child. Fully furnished and equipped, Sears mattresses, Wi-Fi, cable TV, AC, fans, hot water, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and marble kitchen counters with ceramic top electric cooking surface, library, private side patio, and washing machine available. This house is comfortable to beach combers and nature lovers, bird watchers, writers, artists, ecologists, and people who just want a tropical getaway. Casa Brava is a smoke-free house, but you can smoke outdoors in the patio and garden.
Combine beach activities, surfing, body boarding, kayaking and snorkeling, with trekking and exploring the tropical rain forest - a magical experience. Five minutes by car to the Blue Flag Monserrate public beach and famous kiosks for local food. 3 minutes to the town beaches of Playa Azul and the surfing beach at La Pared. Super market, 24 hours gas station, Walgreens, pizzerias and fast foods available. 15-20 minutes drive to El Yunque rain forest and trekking trails. 10-15 minutes to town of Fajardo and the Las Croabas, with lighthouse and phosphorescent bay. Ferry or fly from Fajardo to the islands of Vieques and Culebra.
Several great golf courses are between Rio Mar and El Conquistador hotels. Close to the Outlet Mall, and Route 66 to Carolina and the airport. If you are not renting a car, the beaches are a ten to fifteen minute walk. Ref. Que Pasa, Puerto Rico Tourism Magazine for other information.

I am a decorative arts historian and my husband is a an artist and retired high school art teacher, and we have lived in Luquillo for 30 years.
Why the Owner Chose Luquillo
We have lived in this beach town since the late 70ies. Its a perfect environment for a family reunion or holiday.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The house is quite private, has lovely trees and plants that attract a lot of birds. Hummingbirds, reinitas, white winged doves, thrushes are a few of the local birds.
