We had a great time, it was very relaxing but there was also a lot to do with biking, swimming and kayaking. I went with my adult children and everyone could do what they wanted. We ended up leaving the island only once. We want to go back and spend more time to be able to do more, and possibly go into Canada. The home was very comfortable and provided all that we needed. The first night we arrived the deer were in the backyard and had no fear of us. You do need to bring all the supplies that you need, but there is a store and two restaurants there if you run out, you will not starve. It was easy to shop in town before you got on the ferry. My family is definitely planning to go back, the scenery and lake were beautiful.

What a place!!!!! We did not want to leave,in fact we did get to stay an extra night even though it made for an extra long drive the next day. So very worth it. My Husband said he wants to retire right in the rocking chair on the pourch. Everything they claimed in the ad is true ,true, true,and then some. We are already trying to figure out when we can go again. Thank You so so much for sharing your slice of heaven with us.You made everything so nice and easy, just what we needed. It is very true that you need to bring everything you need with you as there is not a grocery there,just peace and quiet. Loved the bikes too,thanks.
