This vacation home is located in one of Key West's most popular neighborhoods and on a clean swimmable deep water canal. The sea wall provides convenient boat dockage and access to excellent fishing and diving of both ocean and gulf waters. There is a boat launch about 1/4 mile away. Marinas, dive shops, restaurants, groceries, shopping and a golf course are all at your fingertips! A quiet residential area but yet within minutes to the hustle and bustle of Duval Street in downtown Key West!
This tropical home features a large open living room, kitchen and dining area with a cathedral ceiling. Nicely decorated and ceramic tile throughout. A master bedroom with a king bed and master bath is located in one wing. The other wing of the house has a queen bedroom and a full bedroom and shares a full bathroom. There is also a port-a-crib (pack n play) and a booster seat for the little one. Admire a view of the water from every room! All the amenities that you have at home. The newly painted interior colors along with the landscaped grounds have added a wonderful tropical feel to this property. Central Air and Heat.

Why the Owner Chose Stock Island
My late husband, Gary and I fell in love with Key West. We felt quite comfortable in this area having grown up on the water on Cape Cod. We bought the home as a "someday" retirement home but sadly my husband passed away in 2002. I was left to run our Electrical Business and put two daughters through college therefore, I have not been able to get down to the Keys as often as I would like to. To help pay for expenses, I have opened up my home to others on occasion for them to enjoy life in the Keys.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Relaxing, fishing, boating, swimming and the beautiful tropical feeling of the property is what I enjoy when I am at my home. I love being able to hop in our boat to go for a ride to Mallory Square or fishing on the reefs. I love living in a quiet neighborhood but only a few minutes drive to the excitement of downtown Key West. I guess you could say that it is the best of both worlds!

We had a wonderful "cousins" reunion this last week!! Thank you! Everything we needed: 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, washer and dryer!! Great place. We would recommend it to everyone. Groceries and sandals, clothing, etc, stores are real close and about 4 miles into the center of Key West. Very easy to to everything!

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I cought my first lobster, although we had to let hime go.....a little too short! My husband got to really use his boat. My sister and her husband experienced waterfront KW living for the first time. What a great time we have had.....too many great memeories.

You presented your home quite accurately on VRBO as we were somewhat hesitant in renting a house sight unseen on the internet. You have a very pleasant home. The wrap around balcony is something Janice now want on our house, as we could search & find the sun during the entire day. Key Haven is a beautifulneighborhood and only a short distance to a fantastic nightlife. Even if the weather did not collaborate, the warmth of your set-up compensated to fullfill the enjoyment of our stay.

New Years was quite an experience in Key West! Many thanks to Alize' for a comfortable place to crash and hang out while exploring. We found an excellent restaurant serving Cuban food, El Sibonney, and ate from there twice this week. While not eating their food, we swam in the canal, checked out Duval St and lounged at the beach. Lastly, if anyone else is here at New Years, seeing Sushi drop in her slipper is something to remember! Thank you Alize' and Sandy for a great vacation!

Ah the time went by way too fast. You have such a beautiful house there is not a thing I would change. Sunset was wonderful at Mallory Square. We also went on a Sunset Cruise. We ate at Blue Heaven- wonderful. Thank you so much we cooked out on the deck every night but one. We don't get to do that alot in the summer back home.

Wow! What a great house, in a great location, in a great place! We enjoyed being so close to all Key West has to offer! We were able to snorkel on the reef after renting a boat from Murray's Marine, lobster after getting diving equipment, and fish in the beatutiful waters nearby. Having access to all that was a piece of heaven "in" heaven! Your suggestions on dinner were excellent! We really enjoyed Seven Fish! Excellent! Thanks for having a warm and inviting atmosphere while allowing to enjoy the beauty of Key West!
