This three story brick home will accommodate a large family or two separate families if traveling together with friends or extended family. The house has three different floors with two of the floors having their own full kitchen equipped with pots, pans and dishes. The first floor kitchen has seating for 14. The top floor has a walk out balcony with a beautiful view of the lake. The second floor has a full length balcony over looking the lake with a wicker seating area. The first floor has a large sun room with ceiling fans that can be converted into a screened in porch by simply opening the sliding glass doors. There is an area for eating as well as a sitting area with four rockers for quiet, peaceful relaxation. There also is a game room with a full size pin ball machine along with fooze ball. There are two areas to watch TV with full satellite services as well as kids gaming entertainment. The property also features a four car garage with a 300 lb capacity ice machine with a half bath in the garage. The home also has a security system.
The property has a large, covered screened in cedar picnic shelter beside the lake with two ceiling fans and power. This is a great place to grill out and eat. Tables and chairs are provided.
Along the shore line you will find a large, covered dock with an upper deck to enjoy the sun. Lounge chairs are provided for your convenience. The house is located in a cove with plenty of water and very low boat traffic. It is great place to swim and enjoy the lake or sun. Boat parking is available.
Six Mile is less than 30 minutes from Clemson University providing you with the perfect place to stay for all of Clemson's home football games as well as other campus events. Beautiful Lake Jocassee, an excellent source for fishing and scuba diving, is less than 10 minutes away. Charming Cashiers, Highlands, and Brevard, North Carolina are within an hour driving time as well as Commerce, Georgia. Anderson, Seneca, and Greenville, SC are all within 30-45 minutes providing many upscale restaurants and shopping. This property is located in close proximity to many known golf courses developed with The Cliffs.

Why the Owner Chose Six Mile
Lake Keowee is an 18,500 acre lake with beautiful homes, waterfalls and views. For us it was an easy choice because of all the recreational activities around Lake Keowee. In addition to the water activities, you have peace and quiet that you get with a lake setting but less than 10 miles to local shopping and restaurants and only a short distance to the town of Clemson, SC.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The house is on a level lot and is an easy walk to the lake. The area is a great place to take a walk or ride a bike. There is a boat ramp located at Mile Creek Camp Ground which is a public park and located within five minutes of property. Table Rock State Park is only 15 minutes away to enjoy a hike on one of the trails. It is a great place to spend the weekend, take in a Clemson football game and come back to the lake to enjoy the rest of the weekend.

I grew up as a child going to the lake and then after my wife and I had children, we knew we wanted them to have special memories of time spent with family at the lake. When the whole family is there laughing, playing games, and eating delicious home cooked meals, it just doesn't get any better! Our children, parents, as well as many friends have wonderful memories of our time spent at the lake.

Our stay was a multi-family Thanksgiving get together. This house generously accomodated us all with 2 kitchens and several gathering areas. The kids enjoyed the pinball machine, foosball, and wii/playstation games. Kayaking was easy and enjoyable off the dock and lake. The large screened grill area was perfect for our annual oyster roast. The house was exceptionally clean when we arrived. One bathroom was out of commission but appeared to be in the process of being repaired. I would recommend this house and would stay here again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children.

I wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your house last weekend! Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend enjoying the house, the lake, and the views.

We had a great time this past week at six mile. The house is set up perfect for two or three families. Loved having my space with the kids on the top floor while my sister-in-law and niece were on the second floor. The kitchens were very well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. The ice machine was a plus for the coolers we took down to the dock each day. We ate outside once b/c after a fun filled day of diving off the diving board and relaxing in our tubes the kids were in the bed by 7:00 and the adults shortly after. My legs are in better shape from the stairs in the house. I found new muscles in my forearms from playing pinball machine and shooting hoops;) We would have loved to stayed longer. We have some awesome pictures and memories that will last a life time. The BiLo grocery 15min down the road was the best. I have so much more to say but I will keep it to this. If you do rent you will want to bring some DVDs for the kids room. We found one and watched it everynight. Also life vest for small ones. The owner was there when we arrived and he gave us some to use which was a life saver b/c the water is DEEP off the dock.. One more thing if you have small children 2 baby gates would be great for you to pack for stairs.
