  We were pleasantly surprised with how much closer the beach is than indicated in the photos!! So close that our 2yr.old, 4 yr. old and 20 month-old grandchildren could walk with us. We could set up our tent and beach umbrellas early in the morning, leave them there all day since it was an easy trek back to the house. We could also see our beach items from the house porch/deck (definitely a VERY family-friendly area). The house itself is lovely. The upstairs is also much larger than depicted with a great flow from the TV/den area to the dining area to the kitchen. The kitchen is very large and well-equipped (with little ones in tow, we cooked at home). The large porch/deck was our favorite for morning coffee and evening cocktails/meals. The grandchildren adored the pool and almost grew fins. We were able to park four cars in the driveway - 3 in a row and one perpendicular behind the other three (three were SUV's) which was a surprise. The street is a dead-end so the little ones could ride their bikes/wagons in the evening (with parents, of course). VERY QUIET! The coffee table with stools underneath was a favorite for playing games in the evenings. The Winn Dixie is extremely close, within walking distance. We have rented other houses before but this is our favorite!!

  Year 2! Again an excellent stay...we love this place. Perfect location...with teenagers. You can walk to just about everything you would want to do. Five Guys burgers was a great addition to the food selection this year. Can't say enough good things about this property and the individuals who own and manage it.

  My husband and I went down for 3 days with 2 other couples for our friends Birthday! We had a wonderful time! We brought our own pots and pans which we put back in the car when we got there because the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed from pots and pans to wine glasses! All appliances were new! The view was fantastic and the walk to the beach was even shorter than it appeared in the pictures! The rooms were even larger than they looked in the pictures. Great TV in living room for watching football! Roll Tide! We hope to come back in the Spring! Fantastic place to stay!!!

  This was our first time to Destin and is a great place to stay. Very clean and is exactly as the photos are described. Would recommend to anyone.

  Our tribe of 10 ranged in age from 9 to 65 and we had a woderful time. Great view .. beautiful beach .. plenty of room. The upstairs porch area is a wonderful spot to sit a visit andlook out at the ocean. Highly recommend this property and I've been renting vacation spots all over for years!!

  This was the first time I had rented a vacation home. I was very skeptical at first. My friend who had used VRBO before kept reassuring me that everything would be great and she was right! This is a beautiful home in a great location. We had two families with four 16 year old boys between us. The boys had places they could go with in walking distance of the house as well as easy access to the beach. The deck and pool area are great if a day of rain day happens. This is a location that you really don't have to drive anywhere once you arrive.

  The house was perfect for the six adults and two children. Access to beach was easier than I expected and the pool capped things off perfectly. Also loved the beach views from the front porch.

  Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach home with us. The house is absolutely perfect! The furnishings and the updated kitchen and baths are gorgeous, the views from the deck are spectacular, the hammock is a special treat, the pool is refreshing and private, and the location cannot be beat! Very near lots of shopping and great restaurants. We were very fortunate to be able to spend the week...oil and tar-ball free. The beach was great and we had lots of sunny days to enjoy it. Again, thanks so much. We will be back!

  Absolutely adorable decor! Light, cheery & fun. Huge kitchen very well equipped. Kitchen, TV room & dining are large and open. Love the personal touches and whimsical signs. Our favorite spot is the incredible balcony overlooking the beach for afternoon drinks & snacks. I'll be back. You won't be disappointed.
