Unbelievably helpful at the last minute

We had a large group of people headed up to Tahoe, many from out of town, on a Friday afternoon last February only to find out en route that the house we had originally booked 3 months before from a different property rental company was no longer available. I panicked, called dozens of other houses listed on vrbo and wasn't having any luck until reaching Karin. Her family was amazingly helpful, prepped this house for us in less than 5 hours, and went above and beyond to accommodate us at the last minute. The house was fantastic, even better than the original house we had booked, and everyone had an amazing time. I can't recommend this house, and this family enough. THANK YOU!

EXTRAORDINARY VISIT!!!!

We enjoyed a most magnificent stay at this extraordinary property. High above "cave rock" (near Zephyr Cove) with a billion dollar view of Lake Tahoe, and the mountains beyond. We were a group of 14 adults and teenagers, gathered for a family reunion and graduation/ birthday celebration. Everyone was most comfortably situated in 7 bedrooms. The interior architecture was stunning with mosaic marble fireplaces, high vaulted ceilings (same with skylights), fully equpped kithcen, large dining room with a view, etc. There is also a variety of decks, one of which has a hot tub. This is a stellar location for a large group especially to commemorate a special occassion.

We rented this beautfiul home in March 2011 for our family ski vacation and it was beyond our expectations. The house is amazing with exquisite marble & granite work thoughout. We each had our own bedroom suite with views of the lake that were absolutely beautiful. We also loved spending time in the outdoor Hot Tub after skiing which, without a doubt, had the Best Views Ever!!! The owners, Paul and Vicky were very gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved this house and are looking forward to returning next year with our family. Deb & John T.

Owner response:We designed this home for family and corporate retreats. All seven bedrooms have panoramic lake views looking across the Lake Tahoe into the mouth of Emerald Bay, and there isn't a bad room in the house. -Paul and Vicky

We stayed in this beautiful home in July of 2007. Our daughter was getting married and she chose Lake Tahoe as the site of her wedding. We wanted to rent a large home so that the immediate family members could all stay in one location. This home fit the bill and couldn't have been nicer. Vicki, the owner stopped by the first day to make sure we were comfortable and to see if we had any questions. A wonderful lady to say the least. You have wonderful views from almost every room, and every bedroom is a suite. We loved it so much that we are returning again this year in July, and cannot wait to get there.

This place was like nothing we have seen before - the best, most wonderful views you could imagine. We loved the fact that everything is new and pristine. It's perfect for getting to Northstar, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, & of course on minutes from heavenly. Best ever hot tub view. Total total luxury.
