Breathing in the crisp, clean air of Lake Arrowhead

The unique history and elegant vintage charm of this lake front home made for a wonderful vacation retreat! This spacious home, nestled on a cove of Lake Arrowhead’s “North Bay” is the perfect place for large family gatherings while still maintaining an intimate and romantic feel. There are two outside patios for dining, or entertaining both with views of Lake Arrowhead. The lovely flagstone path leads down to the lakefront boathouse and private dock. There my friends and I spent much of our time. We swam and floated around right from our dock. The swim steps and ladder made access a breeze. There was a paddleboat for a day full of fun! The covered boat house has a small fridge, a sink and even a BBQ!
Inside this beautiful home the gorgeous stone wood burning fireplace, the comfortable furnishings and immaculate hardwood floors add to the “Hollywood Nostalgia” of this home. It had all of the essentials we needed. The floor plan of this house is just spectacular. We could see Lake Arrowhead from every room. Each one of the bedrooms is decorated uniquely. The onsite caretaker was helpful and friendly.
A great vacation home for all seasons, Lake Arrowhead is located in the San Bernardino National Forest about 90 minutes and worlds away from Los Angeles or San Diego. There is much to see and do. In the summer, in addition to the crystal clear lake, Lake Arrowhead is host to the largest free concert series in Southern California. There is an Oktoberfest in the fall and ski /snow activities in winter! Lake Arrowhead Village is great for dining, shopping, walking, and for the cubs, there is “Lollipop Park" with rides and games open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. You will truly love this place!

Why the Owner Chose Lake Arrowhead
Owners Gene and Toné Clothier originally purchased their vacation home in Lake Arrowhead because of its old-Hollywood charm and its relaxed vacation feel. We wanted a place to gather with our family and friends. Where family and friends could relax and play in the water, lounge in the boathouse or on the dock, and barbeque and relax on one of two spacious patios overlooking the Lake. With one of the few private docks built into the lake with stone steps leading into the water, this home has it all. It is fabulous for summer gatherings as well as winter retreats and makes an excellent Christmas vacation and holiday destination.

Upon retirement, entrepreneur Gene Clothier and his wife Toné moved to Lake Arrowhead, California. Having both spent most of their lives in Southern California, they wanted a location that would allow them to feel like they were "getting away from it all" while still being able to enjoy all that Southern California has to offer. Their home in Lake Arrowhead does just that. They decided to purchase a second "vacation" home in Lake Arrowhead as a family retreat and gathering place.
