This gorgeous condo overlooks the 1st fairway of Delaware's premiere Jack Nicklaus designed golf course. No luxury has been spared with this newly furnished condo. This unit features stainless appliances, granite counter tops, Brazilian cherry wood floors, large wall mounted LCD TV, large screen porch, jacuzzi tub.
The condo is a short walk to the Lakeside Village (large wavepool with beach, Infinity outdoor pool, state of the art indoor pool, work-out/cardio facilities, locker room facilities, children's activities center). The Peninsula community offers miles of nature trails, biking trails, fishing pier, bay beach. The Peninsula is especially well suited for families. This bayside, gated community is a short drive from Rehoboth, Dewey and Ocean City.
This condo and resort is ideal for families that want to enjoy the beauty and fun of the beach, but without the hassle and worries. There is something for everyone in the family. The golf course has been described as the 'Pebble Beach of the East', there is fishing and crabbing available, miles of nature trails, jogging and biking trails, and a wave pool that is truly remarkable.
We think that the Peninsula is an especially perfect place for families with children, as they will never run out of activities, you will not hear, 'mom I'm bored' or your money back! The outlets are a short drive (about 9 miles). We are close to Assateque Island, Ocean City, Rehoboth and Dewey beach. There are multiple restaurants within several miles (and a great one on premise), upscale shopping a grocery stores are a stone's throw away.
The Peninsula was been voted 'best resort' on consecutive years. The Peninsula is located on over 800 acres of land surrounded by the Indian River Bay (inlet of Delaware Bay) and Lingo Creek. A large portion of adjacent land has been placed in the Sussex County Land Trust, this area is preserved as woodlands and marshlands, wildlife thrives in this protected environment.
The community is gated with 24hr security. The homeowners at the Peninsula take extreme pride in the beauty of the land and buildings. The landscaping is breathtaking and the facilities kept in pristine condition. The staff is friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests

We love this condo, from the moment you walk in your taken in by the beautiful kitchen and how open the condo feels. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are immaculate and very modern. We had breakfast each morning at the Terrace Grill (very good), followed by a couple afternoon trips to the lakeside village to take advantage of the gym and indoor pool. The condo overlooks the golf course which looks to be very nice as well. With the weather being in the 60's all weekend we were able to enjoy the boardwalk in rehoboth as well as all the shops and restaurants along rehoboth ave. Some of our favorite spots to eat were Dos Locos, The Green Turtle (overlooks the ocean) and Dogfishhead Brewery. After dinner if your looking for something sweet go try Cake Break its a cupcake shop that allows children to decorate their own cupcakes. We can't wait to go back and enjoy this condo again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/1

We stayed for a week with our 2 kids and my parents. The resort was amazing and the condo was very nice. Loved the location. Our kids had never been to the ocean so we spent a couple days at Rehoboth and a day at Ocean City. Check out Assateague Island with the wild ponies! This was such a great place with plenty for everyone. Owner was very helpful. Would definitely stay again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

This condo is wonderful! The owner is super friendly and made sure all was okay with our trip. The condo is clean, well-maintained, comfortable, and has an excellent location. I think it's perfect for a family with teenagers because all the beds are big and they had their own screened in porch separate from the one off the master. I loved the kitchen! We were very happy and hope to stay again! Thank you!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Yes...best place ever to leave all your cares behind and relax and enjoy peace & quiet in a beautiful comfortable envirnment. The owners of this condo have gone beyond expectations to make your stay the best. Conveniently & peacefully located. Pool, Spa area, and restaurant just a short distance away. Cozy up to a nice fire on a comfy couch and rest, read, or watch TV. Sit out on the screened-in porch just off the living room and master bedroom with your cup of coffee and watch the deer and/or the golfers. I look forward to going back real soon.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

My family and I stayed in this condo for a long weekend and everything was as nice if not better then the renter described it ( she was also very nice and easy to talk to ). The condo is within walking distance to the Lakeside Village, which has an indoor, outdoor, and a wave pool that our 6 year old daughter absolutely loved. If you play golf you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer course then what is offered at this property, it really is breathtaking. The condo is also close to beautiful rehoboth beach which offers an array of different shops and restaurants that we really enjoyed. We've already made plans to go back to this property again in the near future.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

I have stayed at this condo at least four times. And I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! It has always been exceptionally clean. I love the swimming areas in the summer. Have taken my grandchildren with us to this condo and they have had a really nice time. Took the kids to the beach which is not far at all. My husband enjoys the golfing and I enjoy driving to the outlet stores which are so close. I didn't have to bring anything with me. The condo is supplied with everything. Enjoyed in the morning sitting out on the screened in balcony having a very nice cup of coffee. I found the couple who owns this property are great to work with. My sisters and I rented the place at the beginning of December for a sisters getway and to go Christmas shopping at the outlets. Came back from shopping and went to dinner right on the property. Didn't have to go out once we were back. Plan to head back this summer again. Hope to talk to you soon.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed for several days while visiting family over the holidays. The condo was immaculate and every amenity was provided. We have three little ones, all slept comfortably in their own beds while we enjoyed the fireplace and beautifully furnished living room each night. It was just perfect for us. The owners are very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
