The Beach House @ Point Roberts is an open concept home flooded with light that you connect seamlessly to your outstanding natural environment. With a southern exposure, the Beach House is always flooded with light and decks off every side provide great view lines in all directions. Though great for entertaining it easily transitions into a relaxing retreat .....a nice quiet place to simply be.
The Beach House @ Point Roberts home is a modern architectural take on a traditional Victorian Sea Captain’s home. Upper level decks have 360 degree exposures, east to Mount Baker, south to the US San Juan Islands, west to the Canadian Gulf Islands and north over the grass airstrip to the Vancouver North Shore Mountains. This designer home is centered around a great room concept with Roche Bobois leather furniture, stainless steel appliances, granite kitchen counter, handcrafted stone murals inside and out, and has 3 bedrooms all with ensuites. The hot tub is on the SW upper deck, a great place for evening cocktails while enjoying the vast sunset and ocean views.
Outside there is extensive hardscaping and landscaping with a close cut Idaho quartzite driveway and walkways, exposed aggregate terraces, beautiful flower garden, baskets and pots as well as a desert xeric garden with many exotic agave, yuccas and echeverias rarely seen in this zone.
Point Roberts WA is a very unique Pacific Northwest area encompassing a hybrid of Canadian and American influences. We are on a 5 square mile peninsula of land that juts out from mainland Canada below the 49th parallel, surrounded by ocean on three sides and the US / Canada border to the north. Our combination of ocean and land masses makes the Point a “Blue Hole”, one of the sunniest locations in the NW. We are 25 minutes from Vancouver International, 45 minutes from Bellingham WA airports or a 2 1/2 hour drive from Seattle, WA.
The Beach House @ Point Roberts is on the SW corner of the point, the second house from Lighthouse Park; an easy ten minute walk to the grass airstrip or the marina, within easy walking distances from local art galleries and restaurants and just a few minutes drive from the local award winning golf course. During the summer season we frequently have orca whales in front of our house and year round enjoy the extensive bird life including bald eagles, great blue herons, loons, oyster catchers, mallard, wood and other ducks, coots....and so on, you get the idea. Our extensive flower gardens also attract innumerable song birds and hummingbirds. In addition we have an organic herbal garden that you are welcome to help yourself to while you stay at our home. In the winter, our location is unparalleled for watching storm systems moving through, enjoying winter walks in solitude along the beach, watching the Point Roberts Yacht Club winter sailing series or just curling up in front of the propane fireplace with a good book.

- Lighthouse Park, Lily Point, and Monument Park are within walking distance from our home and sandy Maple Beach is a short drive away; this is a great location for: whale watching, wildlife viewing, beachcombing, storm watching, boating, sailing, kayaking, fishing, photography and seashell, sea glass, sand dollar and rock collecting; in addition there is an award winning 18 hole golf course minutes away, and the marina and private grass airstrips are a short walk. If you are ready for a day away from the peacefulness of Point Roberts, Vancouver with all of it’s amenities is a 35 minute drive away.

What a glorious week in a secret paradise! I live in Washington and never knew we kept such a unique part of the state in Canada. Our clan came from as near as Seattle and as far away as St Paul, MN and Wichita, KS to enjoy Point Roberts and the Beach House. We were so in love with the house with its amazing views and comfortable interior that we hardly went anywhere else! Mornings in the hot tub on the upper deck; afternoons playing croquet on the lawn; evenings sitting around the fire pit. The Beach House had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. We fell in love with the people of Point Roberts and enjoyed watching the wildlife from the house – including WHALES!! I would definitely recommend visiting the Beach House.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We try to escape the heat of SouthTexas in the summer and our trip to Point Roberts did just that - and more! The Beach House at Point Roberts is all that is promised by the owners Terry and Kelli. The pictures do the property well, and are exactly what you enjoy. The pictures cannot tell the whole story and your experience will be the best you could imagine. The house is excellent in every way, from the Roche Bobois furniture, to the Bose-supported A/V systems, to the professional kitchen, the gas grille, the wonderful sheets in every room. Oh yeah, and the hot tub AND the fire-pit - one cannot find anything more they would need or want! We found the town OK, though we did not want for anything. We did find the golf course Spectacular. What a wonderful bonus for us. For anyone who wants a lovely home, right on the water, and perfect in everyway, the Beach House at Point Roberts is just the place. Quiet, beautiful and most comfortable and enjoyable. We look forward to experiencing the wonders of Point Roberts and the Beach House again - soon and often.

The house and amenities exceeded our expectations, beds were great! We saw whales, eagles and blue herons from the house. Golf courses were great, horse back riding and kayak were very fun. The beach is loaded with beautifully colored rocks. Bright purple star fish live on either end of the beach.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Well this was such a relaxing holiday we loved it. Between watching the wales one evening and walking along the beach every day we totally relaxed and got in our fitness all in a few days. This is a home with a lot of thought, art and love gone into making it a fantastic hideaway. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We will be back when time allows.
