w Our family had a wonderful time staying at this condo. It was very clean and was furnished with all the things we needed. The pictures accurately represented the condo and its amenities. The view from the enormous balcony was awesome. We had fun dining out at 3 local restaurants...Bahama Bob's, LuLu's and the Hangout. The owner's representative quickly responded to my emails when booking our vacation and supplied me with all needed information. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

Frustrating experience

This condo is as pictured with one exception, the sectional sofa, it is ultrasuede and has dark, oily spots probably from the skin of other guests. We covered it with blanket provided in the guest room. The balcony and the view are particularly nice. While driving home the owner called to say they could not find the television remote and that I had left the place filthy both of which would result in reduction in my deposit. I was stunned and said perhaps she has me confused because I certainly had not left the condo in that condition. I am 53 years old and have rented innumerable beach condos and have never had monies withheld. After many phone calls and e-mails to myself and my husband they finally located the remote. They are charging me an additional cleaning fee stating I left dishes in the dishwasher, true I left it running when I left, that there was excessive sand (there was very little and this is the beach?) that I left food when I left an unopened box of cookies and bag of sugar for cleaning crew, greasy and oily surfaces when the only cooking was of pancakes. In short I would not want anyone to go through the anger and irritation of having to defend themselves. This owner is more concerned with placating her cleaning staff than treating her guest with hospitality, professionalism and respect. It is for these reasons, not the condo itself that I would not recommend this condo to anyone
Owner response:We are always professional and courteous with all of our guests. And we appreciate our spring break guests (along with all other guests) showing our condo and those who work in it, the respect it and they deserve. We pride ourselves on being available to guests should any questions/problems arise before, during or after their stay. If we do not hear from them, we assume all is well. We do promptly and respectfully contact guests when there is a problem to allow them to assist with missing items and/or respond to any issues related to their stay (especially if it affects other upcoming guests). We also ask our guests to read the Welcome Letter that contains a short list of departure instructions for what we wish to have done by the guests prior to their departure. This ensures the cleaners and inspector have ample time to prepare the condo for the next guest’s arrival. The cleaners work very diligently to keep this condo very clean, so they simply do not have a lot of extra time to complete the guest departure list themselves (i.e., picking up trash throughout the condo, re-washing dishes by hand, etc.). The sofa (and the entire condo) was professionally deep-cleaned in Dec 2011. To our knowledge all other guests have been very pleased with the cleanliness of the entire condo. During all conversations with this particular guest, the guest never mentioned the sofa. After the deposit was returned (with further explanation of the $30 extra cleaning fee), the guest complained about the sofa. Our cleaners monitor the cleanliness of this unit, and notify us if we need to give any part of it special cleaning attention. We always promptly take care of it, as we want all of our guests to relax and enjoy their beach vacation. As our future guests can see we have many positive reviews from former (including multiple visit) guests. We continue to maintain an open line of courteous, fair and honest communication with our guests, as our number one priority is customer satisfaction.

After multiple years of renting this lovely condo, it truly feels like our vacation home. We enjoy so much about this wonderful condo, such as; the view, the well-equipped kitchen, the comfortable furnishings, the convenient location, the amenities of the building (as accurately listed in the description) and the kindness and hospitality offered by the owners. In summary: There can't be many other condos better than this one.

We have just returned from are week in Gulf Shores. The condo was awesome, the view from the balcony were some of the most beautiful views I have seen. The condo was well equipped, very clean. The location was wonderful close to the stores and walking distance to some of best restaurants. I would stay at this condo again in a heart beat. Gail was wonderful to work with, answered all of questions in a very quickly.

We have stayed at this condo several years and it continues to be our favorite beach getaway! It's wonderful wrap around deck is great for early morning coffee or an evening gathering spot. The condo is comfortable and welcoming and we look forward to our next stay.

My family spent a great week at the condo. It was the perfect layout for 3 generations including a three year old who had never been to the beach.The owner was very easy to work with and met our every need.Of course, the weather,the pools, the beach, and the restaurants all were in line for us. We plan to return as soon as possible.

This condo had breathtaking views, it was very clean and equipped with everything one could need. My family and I loved the decor, tastefully decorated with a very cool contemporary style. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time staying at the condo. My nephew got married on the beach in front of the condo. IN NOVEMBER, WOW PERFECT WEATHER!!!!!! I was very concerned when they decided on this date so late in November but you cant beat 76 degrees with Sun!!!! I am a photographer and the pictures of the sunset at this time of year well it was absoluty beautiful!!!!!! My family will certainly be going back to the Lighthouse to stay and this condo was by far the most beautiful I have ever stayed in!!!! My mom and dad are both up in their years and my mom has some disabilities. But the parking and the positions of all the elevators was such a big help. This place is layed out for everyone!!!!! Children and Adults both!!!!!! Thanks for all your help and and great place to stay!!!!!

We have taken our family vacation several years in this area. This year our accomodations were the wonderful. The property was very spacious and the view from huge balcony is great! This is great place for families with children of all ages. The property was very clean and has been well maintained. The condo has everything and more that you might need or want while staying there.The building is a very neat complex with a great beach and very nice pools. The area offers numerous things to do while vacationing and there is a very good selection of restaurants to choose from. We highly recommend this area as a place to vacation, and we highly recommend this property. We hope to stay again in this unit for our next family vacation.

We have stayed at the Lighthouse three years now and this is the best condo yet. The view is spectacular. The space is huge. The balcony is incredible, great views and no noise from the pools. We felt at home. The Kitchen was fully stocked and immaculate. The beds were comfortable. The decorations were beautiful. What more can I say, this condo allowed us to have a very relaxing and comfortable vacation. Isn't that what it's all about? Thanks Gail, for working with us and for the Jimmy Buffett tickets. We would recommend this room to anyone. Thanks Dirk and Christi for working with us and allowing us to use your condo.

This was our first stay in Gulf Shores. The condo was beautiful, the balcony provided a quiet and awesome view. Sunrises & Sunsets were breathtaking. There was lots of room, fully stocked kitchen, and the decor was perfect. For our family it was the perfect condo. We would definately recommend this condo to others. My family and I had a wonderful time in Gulf Shores once again. This unit is very nice and offers everything you could want or need right down to the complimentary coffee! The views from the balcony were spectacular. This was our second trip from Texas in 6 weeks and hope to be back soon! Lovely beaches, beautiful views, FANTASTIC condo. Huge balcony was great for morning sunrises and evening sunsets. Twelveth floor views are unbeatable! Absolutley the nicest and best equipped place (everything you need in the kitchen and more). Would highly recommend this condo to all of my friends and family

We have stayed at the Lighthouse the past 3 years for our annual girls' trip to Gulf Shores and this condo was by far the best one we have ever stayed in. The decor was beautiful with lots of upgrades, it was very clean and well kept, and the view was breathtaking. The owners were very nice and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend staying in this condo. You will not be disappointed!
