This spacious and private villa of 7,212 square feet with extra large infinity pool (40’ x 17’ ft.) will make your tropical vacation a luxury experience. Villa Ambiente is beautifully situated upon a ridge surrounded by mountains clocked in tropical forest where you can hear and see wildlife with a 360-degree view of the Ocean and jungle, one of the best views in Costa Rica. Villa Ambiente is a luxury Colonial style villa designed to cater for a large family or many friends. It has 7 BEDROOMS AND CAN SLEEP 14 PEOPLE in comfort. The MASTER BEDROOM WITH JACUZZI ENSUITE: The bedroom has large a LCD flat panel TV with a comfortable king size bed, side tables, walk in wardrobe, vanity unit, two classic armchairs, air-conditioning, lights with dimmer switch and fan and ensuite refrigerator to keep drinks cold and close to hand. THE JACUZZI ENSUITE: is large and luxurious with marble tiled walls and stone columns surrounding the Jacuzzi, enjoy the views of Ocean and Jungle whilst relaxing in the hydro massage tub, there is also a stand up shower easily large enough for a couple and double sinks fitted within a large cedar vanity unit. Located on upper floor with a private balcony.
BEDROOMS: All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers and toilets a King size bed with carved wooden headboards and matching side tables and wardrobe, fitted with quality sheets, towels, bathrobes and DVD player, air-conditioning, refrigerator, safe, lights with dimmer switch and fan.
• BEDROOMS 3 & 4: Located on lower floor, good views of Ocean and Jungle with a private patio with table and chairs.
• BEDROOMS 5 – 8: Located on upper floor, great views of Ocean and Jungle with a private balcony with table and chairs.
• LOUNGE: Two comfortable sofas an armchair and table, a table and chairs for eating and another comfortable set combined are ample to seat 14 people in comfort also for enjoyment is fitted with a mini bar with stalls. The lounge is arranged so you can relax in comfort and watch a DVD also watch your family or friends enjoy the pool and deck. The lounge is set in tasteful colonial style décor with a partially wooden ceiling and sculptures The lounge leads out the patio.
• PATIO: 3 sets of tables and chairs where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinners, surrounded by columns and arches with fitted subtle wall lights overlooking the pool with views of the Ocean and islands.
• POOL & DECK AREA: A large Infinity pool (40’ x 17’ ft) large enough for lap swimming or just having fun with everyone, which has a breathtaking view. The stone-tiled two level deck area surrounds the pool is large enough for any family or celebration. No need to come inside as you can fix a drink on the deck bar also tiled with stone and tropical palm roof, which has a sink and refrigerator, overlooking the Ocean and jungle. Tan poolside and prepare fresh fish or whatever you wish to grill on the gas BBQ. Fitted with outside showers and toilets, everything has been thought of. You can spend your entire day and evening here.
• KITCHEN: Fully equipped and modern, fitted with Granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, refrigerator with filtered water and ice maker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, large sink, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, sandwich toaster, citrus juicer, etc.
• COURTYARD, CORRIDOR AND STAIRS: The open courtyard has tiled stone floors and walls with a tropical garden and marble fountain in the centre with ethnic sculptures on the sides. The roof covers the walkways but the centre is open which allows free flowing air and keeps the villa cool and allows the sunlight to flood in. All the rooms lead off courtyard as in fitting with colonial style architecture. The spiral stairs lead to the master and bedrooms on the upper floor where you can walk around the courtyard looking down onto the courtyard and fountain below, continue up the staircase brings you to the Toucans Nest.
• THE TOUCANS NEST: Amusingly named, as this lookout tower is a highest point of the Villa above the tiled roof that has outstanding 360º views of the expanse of the Ocean & Jungle. The perfect wildlife and bird watching spot, you can also see whales splashing and jumping in the breeding and birthing seasons.
• A minimum of four rooms can be rented. For your entire stay no other parts of the property will be rented to other parties and you will have the enjoyment of the whole property, pool and grounds for the sole use and privacy of yourselves. .
• LOCATION: About 4km south of Dominical on the south Pacific coast and a 45 minute drive to Manuel Antonio. The short journey down the unpaved track which makes a 4x4 vehicle nessary. There is in easy access to local shops, restaurants and beaches, located off the main coast road just a short 8 minute drive in your 4x4 vehicle down the unpaved road to the beautiful quiet beach of Dominicalito, plus a multitude of other picturesque deserted beaches just a close drive along the coast road waiting for you to discover.

This property is spectacular in every way. The views are wonderful, the house is very well done. The house was set up to originally function as a hotel so each room has separate bathrooms accessible to a central courtyard. The living areas both inside and outside are very nice. Our party of 12 was very comfortable in this home.

We went as group for friends and just got back from a fabulous vacation at Villa Ambiente. When we arrived we walked through the lounge doors and were amazed at the views that are truly superb. We saw many sunsets and enjoyed many cocktails around the pool that was really awesome!!! We liked that the beach was just down the track and many others along the road and also the local restaurants. This part of Costa Rica has still not suffered from over tourism, the wildlife, waterfalls, beaches and local people are great and very friendly. Zip lining and rafting were fun and exciting and the dolphin and whale watching was an amazing experience!!! Dominical and Uvita are close and had good stores and restaurants.The manager was always available and provided great customer service. The Perfect getaway and for sure we will recommend this villa.

Our extended family of 9 enjoyed a terrific stay at Villa Ambiente. The pictures of the villa and its surroundings do neither justice; spectacular might be a good word to describe both. The accommodations were terrific, and the fact that each room had its own bathroom was a big plus for everyone. The housekeeper kept the place very tidy, and was glad to prepare us breakfast every morning. The outside space was marvelous, and many of us chose to simply spend most of our days lounging in and around the pool, enjoying the scenery. The drive to and from the main road is a bit of an adventure, but everyone seemed to think it just added another dimension to the overall experience. We chose to go horseback riding to Nauyaca Falls one day. The folks from Don Lulu’s were great and it was a fun experience. We also went zip lining up the road at Hacienda Baru, and that too was a memorable adventure. We were in Dominical the week between Christmas and New Year’s. The weather was nearly perfect, with warm, sunny days and comfortable nights. The consensus was this was our best family vacation ever.

As soon as we arrived we felt at ease and relaxed. Our whole family absolutely loved the villa and of course the amazing pool, it was exactly what we were looking for and got that and more. Looking at the photos in the listing you can only get an essence of the great views, which are truly awesome. The local beach is just down the road, easy to get to and great for the kids. The villa is great for a big family like ours and is very clean and well looked after. The manager was friendly and had good knowledge of the area for activities and restaurants. We will definitely be back and will bring our friends next time.

What a great place, the villa is amazing very comfortable open and large, it is much bigger than the pictures show. The way the villa is well thought out as it is perfect as it allows everyone to be together and also gives everyone privacy of their own rooms and balconies. It was a great place for our family vacation, we all spent our first days just relaxing by the pool the children playing, watching the wildlife, cooking and barbequing meals, in fact some members of the family spent almost their entire vacation in the villa. The closest beach is Dominicalito, which is beautiful and was great for the children; the other local beaches are all incredible. The manager was very helpful and arranged some excellent tours that were all really enjoyable and some quite adventurous. We were all really quite astonished by the amount of wildlife and the sounds of the forest in this area. All our family enjoyed their vacation and we were all sad to leave this special place but we plan to be back.
