Why the Owner Chose Emerald Isle
We have looked off and on at coastal property for over twenty years. When we came to Emerald Isle on vacation in 1996, we knew this is where we wanted to have a property. Emerald Isle has so much to offer, from pristine waters, sidewalks for walking and biking. In 2001 we bought a smaller house (Brand New Day), also a vacation rental; when the opportuntiy presented itself to buy and build we took advantage. This was a from the ground up project; we chose all the furnishings (moved it all by ourselves too) and my wife did all the interior decorating. We also did most of the landscraping. It was a lot of sweat equity but we are so proud of the outcome; this is just a wonderful home and location for us to come together and shut out the rest of the "real" world. Our hope is that it will be that kind of vacation refuge for you as well.

Hello Guests,
We have two childeren, 22 and 25 years old. Over the years we have cherished our times together in our Emerald Isle home,the days we have kayaked toghether, long bike rides and walks and special times around the table for those special seafood feasts. We look forward to even more years (hopefully with some grandchildren)making new memories; this is such a great beach for families.
