Location, Location! 319 Dobie is a first-floor ski out condo in the popular Dobie Ski Area. It is also a four-season retreat while being close to many resort amenities such as skiing, hiking trails, tennis and golf. The condo is within a quick walk of the Mountain Inn lodge, the kid's Tree House and three resort restaurants.
We are WPI Club members and have guest passes available in 319 Dobie that allow you to enjoy the Aquatics/Fitness center with a $13.00 fee for Adults and $10.00 for Juniors. There is no additional fee for access to Lake Monocan Park.
319 Dobie has been completely renovated with two beautiful baths, new kitchen and all new furnishings. There is a large deck overlooking the Blue Ridge Express Ski Lift and mountain views. Step off your first floor deck for skiing. The condo has a reserved parking space, just outside the front door.

Why the Owner Chose Wintergreen
We love this location in Wintergreen Resort because we love to ski, golf and play tennis. Our condo is only a short walk to the Mountain Inn lodge, several restaurants, the kid's Tree House, the Blue Ridge Terrace, etc. We enjoy visiting our condo year-round and there is something to do in every season. We look forward to sharing our newly renovated condo with you.

Great ski condo, especially for families

Stayed 4 nights for skiing. This is a warm, nicely appointed condo with a great ski in/out location. The pictures are very accurate, in fact it's actually nicer than the pictures convey. Easy walking distance, even with snow, to most resort amenities. Beds are comfortable and the condo is nicely renovated with quality finishings, furniture, and appliances. The master bedroom is very comfortable, and the "bunk room" easily sleeps 3-4 kids and is a room our kids loved hanging out in. Some things to consider before renting: 1. It is ski in/out, which means you also hear the noise associated with early morning and night skiing. On weekends, there is skiing from 8am-10pm. Also, if snowmaking begins overnight (in our case at 3am) the startup process for the pumps is very loud and lasted 30-45 minutes. Once the startup phase finishes, the snowmaking noise is minimal, so not an issue of snowmaking is already going when you go to bed. 2. You need to bring some "extras" yourself. There were only 2-3 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, and cooking utensils were minimum. No tupperware. No kleenex. Only 1-2 rolls of paper towels. 3. It is 1st floor, which is great for ski in/out access. In previous years, there was no one in the unit over us. This stay the unit above was rented out, and the sounds of the people above us moving around was somewhat loud, especially with their ski/snowboard boots on. One night the group above us was up late for some "Apres Ski" fun and it didn't quiet down until after midnight. 4. In previous years, the owners have used a rental agent but now manage the property themselves. As a result, communication was not nearly as good as in the past. From what we can tell, the owners are not local. Several emails with questions went completely unanswered, and usually others took several days to respond. The communicativeness this year was from our experience below average, especially considering this condo is in the priciest range of comparable units. Overall, it is still one of our favorite places to stay at Wintergreen for winter skiing. The location can't be beat, it is very comfortable, and the nice furnishings give it more of a "home" feel than a rental. It's a bit pricey, but if you don't mind the sound of the snowmaking coming on in the middle of the night, and if there is no one in the unit above you, it is almost the perfect ski in/out condo of this size/location.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Perfect for a large family of 7. Listing photos cannot really capture the beauty of this condo. Sitting by the fire and watching the people getting off the Blue Ridge lift and going down Dobie was such a delight. I could see my family take off down the slope and then come up the lift to go back down over and over. Being at the top of the lift on this slope is perfect for beginners and intermediate skiers. Also, ski school was close by as well as the half day child care. The layout of the condo is very nice so 4 adults and 3 children were quite comfortable. Each room has a TV/DVD set up, so everyone was happy. The kitchen is well stocked, so we prepared our planned meals and enjoyed the relaxation by staying in. We have stayed here 2 years in a row will consider returning again next year. The owner was very helpful and we will highly recommend this condo to our friends.
