Our brand new ohana studio is sparkling clean & features tropical furnishings with private entrance, private bath & private lanai. Kitchenette includes fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink. All dishes, silverware, towels & linens are there for your use. Private bathroom with tub & shower is inside the unit. The lanai is private, great for relaxing, drinking your morning coffee (included) cocktails & candlelit dinner. Snorkel gear, boogie board, beach chairs and towels included for your use.
The ohana is fully furnished with comfy queen sized bed, table and chairs, desk, dish TV, DVD player with DVDs, CDs, books and outdoor BBQ. Common carport has washer & dryer for your use. We are on one acre of land. We have our own separate living area, on the opposite side of the carport.
We are 20 minutes south of Hilo (in Hawaiian Paradise Park), 10-15 minutes from shops and restaurants, and centrally located for side trips to other parts of the Big Island. We are ½ mile from the ocean cliffs. The hot ponds, parks and beaches are nearby. Volcanoes National Park is a 40 minute drive. Kehena Black Sand Beach (clothing optional), where you can swim with the dolphins, is 20 minutes away. We are 15 minutes from the Kalapana lava flow, where you can watch the new lava flowing into the sea and creating the newest land on earth.
$50/night for stays of 2-6 nights, 7th night free. $75 for just one night.
$300 a week/ for 1-2 people. Ask about longer term rates!!

Year Purchased: 2008
Laura is a real estate agent who was born in the islands and returned here 20 years ago. Gary is a woodworker/carpenter who was born in and grew up in the islands. We are in our 50's. We enjoy outdoor activities, nature, and the ocean, and this is the perfect place to enjoy them all!
A lot if info is not in the travel books. We will be happy to share our first hand knowledge with you.
