Experience all the beauty and romance Maui has to offer from the third-floor lanais of this attractive, clean and wonderfully equipped 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo. Enjoy quiet, relaxing breakfasts with a beautiful 180-degree, panoramic view of the ocean. Cool off in the large swimming pool, relax in the hot tub or swim with your kids in the kiddie pool. A large grassy area between the condo complex and the beach provides opportunities for shuffleboard, horseshoes or volleyball. The complex has a putting green to sharpen your stroke before heading to one of the many Maui courses. While indoors, enjoy the complete kitchen, watch your favorite cable channels or DVD movies on the 40" LCD TV (a collection of family oriented DVDs are kept in the condo).
There are games (Trivial Pursuit, Backgammon and Scrabble), Hawaiian CDs , Maui travel guides and assorted paperback novels for your enjoyment. If you just can't keep work away, take advantage of the high-speed, wireless DSL connection.
The ocean is just a few steps away and before you know it, you'll be walking on the beach or enjoying beautiful sunsets. Just 2 blocks north you'll find the Hawaiian Humpback Whale Marine Sanctuary and a lovely, safe lagoon for children's play at low tide. Towels, mats, and chairs are supplied for your use. If a long run is more your style, you can run (when the tide is out) north all the way to Maalaea and back... about 5 miles. Less than a mile south on S. Kihei Road are shops, drug stores and supermarkets.
The condo is furnished to be comfortable and relaxing with a tropical decor. The Master Bedroom offers a new California King bed and a private lanai with a perfect view of the swimming pool and the kiddie pool.
Once you've seen the Maui sunsets from the lanai, walked on the soft, sandy beaches and splashed in the clear, warm water you'll never want to leave. If you do, you'll forever look forward to coming back.

Maui is, in our opinion, the best of the Hawaiian Islands. The island has everything for a fun-filled and/or relaxing vacation.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Kauhale Makai is an excellent condominium complex. It's located on the northern part of Kihei away from the noise and confusion of downtown. From either lanai off the living room or master bedroom there's a 180-degree panoramic view of the ocean that you can hear 24 hours a day. The complex is quiet and is very well-kept.

The condo was great. The kitchen is well-stocked and was great to have a few meals at your home. The views from both balconies have been a joy. We have stayed @ Village by the Sea before and the location to the rest of the island fits our needs. Hope to come back again.

Aloha & Mahalo! We come to Maui & Kauhale Makai each year, but this is out 1st visit in KM 311. It's the best! We especially liked the 2 lanais, the MB one we called our "breakfast lanai"; the main lanai for lunch and dinner; both for sunset. We also enjoyed the very well-stocked recreation and beach equipment that is lacking in most condo units. The furnishings were in keeping with our tastes, and we were pleased to enjoy the island artwork and wall pictures. We look forward to returning again to KM 311!

Thank you for allowing us to rent your condo. We really liked the layout with large windows facing the ocean and also the fact that the living room balcony looked straight out to the ocean and not to other balconies. We also enjoyed the cleanliness and newer decor. This was out first trip to Maui, but we will be back and hope that we will be able to rent your condo. We like the idea of being centrally located. We also like the beautiful sunsets from the lanai (private and quiet). The beach chairs also came in handy. Thank you.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful place here. We had an absolutely wonderful time and enjoyed every minute of it. Scott and I BBQed almost every night and watched the sunset from the lanai. We did a few different things this trip. Went to a luau, drove the road to Hana and snorkeled. It was a blast!
