Dreamcatcher Chalet is a luxurious brand new southwestern style ski chalet in the heart of the Taos Ski Valley. The house is located on an exclusive road about 50 yards from the Rubezhal return trail.
The main house has 3 bedrooms, loft, 3 1/2 baths and one alcove bedroom. It can comfortably accommodate 12 guests. There is also an adjoining one-bedroom apartment for 4 people, which can be booked together with the main house for a total of 16 people.
The main house has a very spacious living room with a fabulous centerpiece floor to ceiling Texas limestone fireplace. The dinning room features an exquisite Mexican mesquite dinning table that can accommodate about 12 people. Beyond the dinning room lie a professionally appointed kitchen with large island, double refrigerator, professional range, super quiet dishwasher and all needed appointments and utensils.
The master king bedroom suite is also located on the first floor. It has its own entrance to the outside deck and hot-tub spa. The master bath features a powerful steam sauna.
On the second floor there is a spacious loft, one queen en-suite and a third bedroom with 2 bunk beds. There is also a third bathroom. The loft and the cozy alcove bedroom overlook the main room and share great all around views of the surrounding mountain. The loft makes a great space for playing games and to give the youngsters their own space in the house.
The adjoining apartment (VRBO #257462) is located on the first floor with access either through the main house or through its own separate entrance. The house also features a heated 2-car garage, a great place to leave your skis.
Four wheel drive is required during winter months.

Our family had a wonderful vacation in Taos Ski Valley this summer. We took trail rides, river rafting trips, mountain hikes, etc. and returned each day to spend time together. Dreamcatcher Chalet provided a great space for that family time. The large family room, dining area and kitchen were very well equipped and welcoming. The owners have provided those extra touches that helped us feel we were welcome guests. Our party included three generations, and the Chalet and adjoining apartment allowed us to have both the space to be together to play games, eat a family meal or watch a movie and have separate quiet space for babies to nap. The property manager was helpful and a great resource. Dreamcatcher is a fantastic place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Taos.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We have been traveling to Taos for the past four years now and this home is the best one we've stayed in. We rented both the home and the adjoining apartment to accommodate more than one family. The entire property is very well-maintained and wonderfully decorated. Our party includes kids from 7-16 and everyone found a spot to hang out and have fun after skiing and sledding outside the house. The heated garage worked great to hold all our ski equipment and serve as a place for everyone to get all the snow off before entering the home. It snowed heavily while we were there and the road was kept plowed and the home's care-taker called to check on us. We will return to the Dreamcatcher chalet in the future!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our trip was perfect - plenty of fresh snow and your place is wonderful! It is very similar to our lake house so we were quite happy. I am already talking with several family members about your place so we can plan our next visit. We have always wanted to do a big family ski trip together and your place would be perfect. We had a terrific time in TSV and very much enjoyed your home. The conditions were awesome for all 4 days of skiing. The kids had fun building snow caves in the plowed up snow along side of the road. Why the Owner Chose Taos Ski Valley:
Taos has been our family vacation place for more than 15 years. It is a great place for winter and summer vacations. We love the place so much, that we decided to build the house and have our own place in the mountain. Taos Ski Valley is one the best kept secrets in the US. In the winter, the skiing is fantastic; there are no lift lines, expert skiers can enjoy a variety of terrain including bowls and top of the mountain terrain. Intermediate and novice skiers have great blue and green runs and one of the best ski schools in the country. In the summer, we have hiking trails, fishing, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, horse back riding; all within short distances from the house.
