Our family had the pleasure of spending a week at Cindy's condo! We found it clean, quiet and so relaxing. When we arrived there was one small issue with a drain, which Cindy had taken care of within just a couple of hours. We spent many early morning hours sitting on the patio listening to nothing but the waves. The pool was was wonderful, it was clean, very large and we often had to to ourselves, so different from the resort pools with crowds and no where to sit. We can hardly wait for the next opportunity to get back to St Croix.

We had a great week at the condo! It was as described, in fact the master suite was even nice then we were expecting. We had never done VRBO before but were very pleased The place was also v. clean which was impt to me. It was the best of both worlds staying at a condo but also having the proximity of the palms where we went for drinks and dinner a few times. We enjoyed cynthia's reccomendations for the trip to buck island and went out on the jolly roger. Had excellent meals on the island our favorite was kendricks but also enjoyed savant, salud, and rum runners. The pizza at off the wall also looked amazing. It was great knowing that cynthia was only a call away if needed (but we didnt need to call)

What a treat!! Very, very comfortable unit. The open porch or gallery offers outdoor eating, reading, and a lovely view. The beach was extra nice and very walkable. I found 2 conch shells my first day. Pool is FANTASTIC; nicest on the island. Very nice funrishings, very complete kitchen, comfortable bed with a wake up view of the surf. Landscaping is well cared for and just exudes that tropical pamphlet look. Nice restaurant/bar nearby. Goodmeat/ grocery store nearby. Cynthia called the day we came to see if all was ok and the day we left to see if there had been any problems. Great place.

Thank you so much for everything, we had an amazing time! This condo was everything described and more. The property was very clean and well kept. It is in a perfect location on the island and was equipped with everything we needed. Cynthia was very helpful with advice for things to do and places to go on the island including grocery stores. She was always very accessible and easy to communicate with and we loved the book at the condo complete with directions! We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting St. Croix! We would definitely recommend the snorkeling tour to Buck island and the ATV tour with Gecko Adventures. Our favorite restaurants were Bernie's and Blue Water Terrace.

If you are looking for complete rest and relaxation, you have found it at Island Oasis. The condo was perfect for our needs and was centrally located to everything we wanted/needed. Cynthia made our vacation extremely easy. She was a wonderful resource for any information about the island and provided extensive resources in the condo to help us with things to do, places to go, and contact recommendations. She periodically touched base with us throughout the week to ensure we had everything we needed. If we needed her, we knew how to find her, but we never needed to reach out to her, as everything was quickly found and readily available. Departure was a breeze - only had to strip the beds and lay any used towels over the banister. Couldn't have asked for more. Already planning our next trip to St. Croix. Absolutely loved it!

The Pelican Cove condos are in the perfect spot -- close to town, and near many beaches. Plus, being next door to the Palms Resort was a great bonus -- nice food, drinks and a snorkeling beach. The condo itself was very nice and well appointed. And the grounds and pool (and hut tub!) were clean and welcoming. Cynthia is a great host and was very attentive. You can be assured that what you see is what you get with this description. Thanks, Cynthia!

Excellent St Croix condo

My family and I (myself, husband, and two teenagers) stayed at the condo in June 2011. We were very happy with the Island Oasis condo. It was very roomy and comfortable. The condo could use a little updating, but it was a very fair price. The condo is in a good location on the island for accessing historical sites, beaches, shopping, and fun activities. It’s also in a safe neighborhood—which is important to us. We loved that we were only 10 minutes from the Salt River Marina for scuba diving! The directions we were provided by Cynthia were invaluable. She really went out of her way to help us plan for the trip. We were very pleased with the “extras” provided in the condo, particularly the cooler for transporting drinks to the beach, large number of towels (for bathrooms, kitchen, & beach), pool toys, etc. The fully stocked kitchen (in terms of utensils, dishes, pots/pans, etc) was very much appreciated. We would definitely look into stay here again if we make it back to St Croix in the future.

A great vacation in St. Croix

The condo was everything stated in the listing - large rooms, clean, well-equipped. Cynthia was great at preparing us by sending information before we left and providing brochures and details on all aspects of our vacation needs at the condo. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. We enjoyed travelling around the island, once we got the hang of driving on the left, we golfed, rented ATV's, toured the rain forest and enjoyed a few of the beautiful beaches!! It was a sunny, warm, relaxing vacation - a welcome escape from the stresses we sometimes encounter in everyday life.

Island Oasis - March 2011

We spent a week in March at the Island Oasis condo and were very pleased with the accommodations. The condo was clean and nicely decorated with many amenities, such as a washer and dryer, BBQ and well stocked kitchen. Beach towels & chairs, a cooler and many other extra items were provided which made packing so much easier. The condo is located in a well maintained complex and has a great view of the ocean and a short walk to the big, beautiful, well kept pool. It has a large covered porch with a table & chairs to enjoy the ocean view and warm weather. Cynthia made sure to call and check if everything was OK several times and was very quick to return a call when we had questions. Her attention to detail and service are evident in the condo everywhere. We had perfect weather every day with the temperatures in the mid/high 80’s, but with the nice breeze it felt perfect. We went to a different beach every day and were surprised at how few people there were. Not all were great for swimming due to rocks, but nice just the same. The town of Christiansted is only a short drive away. We went to several restaurants in town and enjoyed some good meals. The town has seen and felt the impact of the economic downturn with many shops shut down. On the opposite side of the island, several things to see and the drive (stay on the left mon!) is less than an hour. We went through the rain forest and to Rainbow beach. Overall a great condo, and very relaxing place. If visiting St. Croix, Island Oasis is the way to go!

Island Oasis

Highly recommend this property. We received phone calls from Cynthia prior to leaving, during our stay, and upon returning home to ensure that everything was satisfactory. We have rented homes, apartments, etc. rather than doing "all inclusives" for the past few years so have a number of places to compare this one to. This is mostly an owner occupied property so it was very quiet and low key. Well kepted and clean. Liked the island too. Found it to be very affordable compared to some other islands. For example, our rental car was about $250 vs $580 in Barbados and Australian wine was about $12 for a 1.5 litre bottle. Found a fisherman to buy lobster from (drive toward town and turn right at the first stop light and he parks at the right side of the road. He gets there about 11:30) for $8 a pound. Fish is $5 a pound. The lobsters were all in the 3LB range. Cynthia, you need a bigger pot to cook these guys in! Just a hint, we always take food with us on these trips. We freeze meat and put it in a soft sided cooler and it is still frozen when we reach our destinations. If your going from outside the US you can just go to the US Customs website for info about what you can bring in.

Island Oasis- A True Paradise

We spent 5 wonderful weeks at Island Oasis. We were very pleased with the spaciousness and amenities the condo had to offer. The bedrooms were roomy, the living/dining area/kitchen areas were well set-up, and the patio was a delightful place to sit and have cocktails in the evening with the ocean in the background. The kitchen was fully equipped, as were the linens and baths. There were lots of 'extras' in the condo and we felt that Cynthia had her guests in mind when she paid attention to all the little details that made our stay so nice. The condo is very conveniently located to any part of the island- East/West/North/ or South. I would definitely return to Island Oasis and/or recommend it to any one planning a trip to St. Croix.

We could not have asked for anything more in this condo. The location was very convenient and the condo was very clean and well maintained. The complex was very quiet with very few at the pool and hot tub. Our daughter loved the pool as it is very large. We ate a few times at the Palms hotel next to the condo complex and the food was very good with friendly service. We did the Big Beard Buck Island snorkel trip, Buccaneer beach, Udall monument, Rum Runners restaurant in Christiansted and the dinner buffet show at the Hotel on the Cay, as well as driving through the rain forest and stopping at the Domino Club to see the beer drinking pigs. Cheeseburgers was also very good and reasonably priced. We have used VRBO many times and we would definitely recommend Island Oasis.

Absolutely at great place to stay while visiting St. Croix. My husband and I traveled with another couple and found ourselves arriving one day later due to AA. Once we finally arrived on the island, we knew we had made a great choice. Cynthia has thought of everything. It is in a great location. We enjoyed the walk to The Palms restaurant. We did a lot of sight seeing but also enjoyed the beach at Cane Bay. One evening we drove to Fsted and watched the sunset from Coconuts with live music. The listing is very accurate, the photos are real and the property is clean and well maintained. It also has a nice pool. We would definitely recommend the property and look forward to our next trip with our children. Thank you Cynthia :)

We stayed at this beautiful condo in mid August. It had everything we needed and more. It was clean, spacious and secluded, with a picturesque view of the ocean/beach. A Perfect Place in Paradise!

Knowing that the end of the era of family vacations was coming closer I was determined to find the perfect spot for the 4 of us. We had decided on St. Croix as the kids (18 & 21) had never been there and a close family friend has been a resident of the island for 28 years. Island Oasis was the perfect place! From the stunning views, the size and condition of the condo, the wi-fi (the kids uploading vacation photos/videos daily to their facebook friends) the 2 baths, the washer/dryer, the great kitchen, and the secluded/private location that was 10 minutes from Christiansted-we coudn't have been more pleased. Cynthia made the whole process simple and easy and was very hands on throughout. We would return in a heartbeat! Thanks for everything Cynthia!

Island Oasis was like a home away from home. The unit is spacious, comfortable, clean, well furnished & equipped. It exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was well stocked making "cooking in" easy, and the BBQ, movies, games & beach towels were nice "extras". The condo was located on one of the nicer beaches in a more residential area. The grounds were well maintained, and there was a large pool & jacuzzi that we had to ourselves. Driving to the grocery store, town & island attractions was easy & convenient. Cindy, the owner, was very helpful and checked in with us before & during our stay to ensure everything was going well. She was very professional, easy to work with and would promptly answer any questions we had. We've rented many beach condos over the years & this was probably one of the best.

Recommend: Get fresh fish and Senopol beef from Annaly Farms, Big Beards all day Buck Island Trip, snorkel Cane Bay and stop in and see Calvin, Becky, and Diane at Spratnet on the beach they are all very friendly with good food and good Papawanna, Christiansted Brew Pub on Mon for crab races and free beer with steak dinner, drive thru rainforest and stop at Domino Club to see pigs but don't miss the chicken and johnny cakes, amazing, We had a wonderful trip although 7 nites almost did not seem long enough. We would definitely recommend Island Oasis and can't wait to go back.

What I had been missing!!!

Dear Cynthia, My two sisters and I just returned from our very first vacation together to your beautiful home in St. Croix. Being from Calgary, I don’t go to the Caribbean and usually head south or west. I had absolutely no idea of what I had been missing! St. Croix is a refreshing change from the tourist traps of Mexico and Hawaii. Your condo welcomed us with “open arms” as all the amenities we needed were right there. Your binder full of useful information took the stress out of “what should we do now?”. You were absolutely right – Michael’s trip on the Jolly Roger to Buck Island for the sail and snorkeling ranked right up there with the Great Barrier Reef and Galapagos Islands. Absolutely fantastic, and “must do” for both snorkelers and non-snorkelers! The lap-length pool was beautiful, and the swims wore off the rum punches, of which I experienced a few (too many). The staff that kept the condo grounds in such beautiful shape were so friendly and helpful. Macko even cut down a coconut and opened it up for us right by the patio! Another first. All of us are so glad that we made the right choice, and happily recommend your home to other visitors looking for a little bit of paradise.

Fabulous Condo In a Great Location

We stayed in this condo as a family of four with all the comfort of home. It was very enjoyable to have room for the teenagers and the adults and a place to sit and play games or just relax and unwind. The condo is very clean, bright, tastefully decorated, beds and furniture are comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities for those that wish to cook at home. There is an open concept kitchen, dining room, living room which enables you to see the view of the beach and ocean from every room. The pool is warm and well maintained and I have never felt an ocean so warm. We all enjoyed being able to take long walks on the beach, as well as the two restaurants and night club along the beach on the evenings we did not feel like cooking or driving. The owner gave us detailed directions on how to find the condo from the airport which enabled us to end our long journey from Canada without any hitches and as said in previous reviews, the keyless entry was very handy for us being a family of 4 and not having to deal with who has the key. If you are taking a trip to St. Croix, I highly recommend this condo as your home away from home!

Cynthia: We loved our stay! We appreciate the decor very much and that you keep quality linens on site. That was a huge blessing for us as we only had romm for 1 beach towel. Really an Island Oasis

This was my first experiene booking a vacation condominium on line. My apprehnsion quickly vanished when I found that the owner of this unit is a real estate professional who went our of her way to provide information and to accomodate our individual requirements. Before we arrived, she made wireless internet access available for our visit. My wife and I arrived in St. Croix and followed detailed directions provided by the owner to the door of this lovely two bedroom unit. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the Condos of Pelican Cove are a stones throw from the beach. There was ample parking and the keyless entry system was very convenient. The unit itself is furnished with an ample supply of dishes and cookware. Our host did not abandon us. After our arrival, she called to confirm that we were satisfied with the unit. During the vacation, a blender in the unit broke. The onwer replaced it less that four hours later. This was typical of the level of service we received. Even though two very nice restaurants are only a short walk down the beach, we enjoyed the having the ability to cook meals in when we chose to do so. There is a very excellent gas grill on the deck. It appeared nearly new. I enjoyed cooking on local fresh fish on the grill. There is a great fish market and a grocery store within half a mile. Another important feature of this unit is the relative quiet. We seldom heard noise from adjoining units. There is very little traffic in the area, so the pool and grounds are very quiet. The grounds a very neatly maintained. The swimming pool and hot tub were very clean., This was an ideal place to relax when we were no interested in driving to a beach. St. Croix is a great vacation site. There are an abundance of fine beaches, several affordable golf courses, snorkeling sites including the underwater Nationlal Park and there are many very nice restaurants.. St. Croix is safe. If one is sensible, there seems to be little worry about crime. My wife and I found this to be one of the most enjoyable vacations we have spent. We are looking forward to our next visit. I wholeheartedly recommend the Island Oasis.

This was my first experiene booking a vacation condominium on line. My apprehnsion quickly vanished when I found that the owner of this unit is a real estate professional who went our of her way to provide information and to accomodate our individual requirements. Before we arrived, she made wireless internet access available for our visit. My wife and I arrived in St. Croix and followed detailed directions provided by the owner to the door of this lovely two bedroom unit. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the Condos of Pelican Cove are a stones throw from the beach. There was ample parking and the keyless entry system was very convenient. The unit itself is furnished with an ample supply of dishes and cookware. Our host did not abandon us. After our arrival, she called to confirm that we were satisfied with the unit. During the vacation, a blender in the unit broke. The onwer replaced it less that four hours later. This was typical of the level of service we received. Even though two very nice restaurants are only a short walk down the beach, we enjoyed the having the ability to cook meals in when we chose to do so. There is a very excellent gas grill on the deck. It appeared nearly new. I enjoyed cooking on local fresh fish on the grill. There is a great fish market and a grocery store within half a mile. Another important feature of this unit is the relative quiet. We seldom heard noise from adjoining units. There is very little traffic in the area, so the pool and grounds are very quiet. Wonderful Pelican Cove St. Croix

My husband and I stayed in this condo for 2 months. It has large rooms with everything you could possibly need for a long stay. It has very nice furnishings; very comfortable, including the king size bed. This condo has a great ocean front view right from your very own large patio. Have dinner out there; sit and relax with your favorite book; listen to the waves. It's so nice! We met some great people there. We'll stay in touch with them for a long time to come. The grounds staff is so friendly, and eager to tell you about St. Croix, and even the island they come from, as some are from other Caribbean Islands. The pool is awesome...just beautiful, and the beach is a gorgeous tropical beach lined with palm trees. This condo complex is so well maintained! St. Croix has the most friendly people I've ever met. They are all so happy to say "Good Morning"...with a smile. We loved our stay there and hope to go back soon!

My name is Tony. My friend Elise and I were Cynthia's very first guest's at the condo. We spent Thanksgiving Vacation 2009 there, and found it to be a great pleasure. We live in Texas, and travel to the Caribbean often. Cynthia helped make our vacation one of the best ever. We took a flight on the Seaplane to St. Thomas, then took the ferry to Tortola, BVI. Our St. Croix vacation was fun filled. We're very much looking forward to our next visit.
