“About Time” … a 4-Season Vacation Mountain Hot Spot
This recently built 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath log cabin is ideally situated on Willow Mountain, just outside of Boone, NC. The views from the cabin are spectacular. The cabin is set up with two master Jacuzzi equipped suites and a third bedroom with two twin beds to sleep a total of 6 in pure comfort. The cabin comes equipped with a gourmet kitchen, satellite TV in every bedroom and main living area, DVD surround theatre system, Hot Tub, a quiet sitting area equipped with wireless Internet and printer/fax machine. There are a few other great secrets about the cabin that have brought repeat guests back to About Time. Pets are allowed. So many vacation playgrounds within a 15 to 20 minute drive.

Summer – Golf, fishing, hike the hundreds of trails, white water rafting/float trips, Tweetsie Railroad

Winter – 3 ski resorts near-by, explore the caves & mineral mines, walk the many small local towns and take in their history

The term "cabin" doesn't do justice here. This vacation getaway is big, spacious, and beautifully equipped. It turns out that the owners use it for their own vacations, so it isn't surprising that it is so complete. What isn't in the description is illustrative: there is an unfinished basement with a pool table, ping pong table, dartboard, and even wireless speakers to the audio system. Location is well up the side of the mountain for great views, and well situated in terms of distances to area attractions. The cabin is somewhat hidden from the access road, so get good directions from the management company. Try this cabin. You will be glad you did! Note: With three levels, vacationers should be comfortable with climbing stairs.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.
