We had a great stay at this cottage. We brought 5 children (8 and under) and there was more than enough places to sleep. My kids loved it and connected well with Fred. He was very accomodating and helpful with everything we needed. The cottage was updated very nicely, and stocked with many supplies/necessities. The trip went far too quickly. We hope to come back again soon!

This is a small Michigan country lake cottage that has been totally and tastefully renovated. The best part was being right on the lake, with access to the finest fishing hole in the area. We even caught fish right from the dock, although the owner has a boat that you can reasonably rent. (Get your fishing license on-line before you go.) If you don't catch your own dinner, one of the best restaurants in town is about a mile away, right on the water. You can also get there by boat! There's a country store nearby, too. We never went into the town the whole time we were there because it was just too nice to leave. We did spend part of one day touring the nearby lighthouses on Lake Huron. Plenty of space for three adults, couple, couple with 2 teenagers or family with small kids. However, the more people, the less living space. Would love to return in the future.

Small but charming cottage with spectacular views of the lake. We enjoyed a very relaxing week on this quiet part of Long Lake. Sunrises and sunsets were wonderful to watch! Ceiling fans were great on hot days, and owner was very helpful. Two of us enjoyed kayaking, bird watching and reading on the decks.

My husband, my son and I stayed at this charming cottage for one week in June. We found it very peaceful and a beautiful location on the lake. My son loved the fishing, the dock and the bonfire. Fred has done a nice job of renovating and supplying what you need. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Very nice cottage, excellent location on Long Lake. Cottage is fully updated with microwave, ceramic tile, washer/dryer and furnace and cable TV. The view inside looking out at the lake is breathtaking. We loved waking up and seeing the lake out the huge doorwalls. Would definitely go there again if have the chance.

My mom, sister, and I stayed at the Brothers Bay Vacation Home on our final night of a Mother's Day getaway weekend. The cottage was beautifully located at the water's edge with lake views on three sides. The inside of the cottage was charming with many natural elements used in the decor. We loved the heated slate floors and the cedar trim. It contained all the necessary appliances and accessories to keep us comfortable and warm. A perfect spot for anyone wanting to fish or a family or or group of friends wanting to spend a few days getting close to nature. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to other travelers looking for a spot to stay away from the noise and stress of everyday life.

This cottage made you feel like you were in the water. Every window you looked out you were looking at the water. Family of 5 sisters stayed here in the fall and enjoyed the coziness of this place. I would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the water. Wonderful collection of cd's. Had all the dishes we needed to make all of our meals. This cottage was also very clean and well maintained. I would definitley recommend this place for all to have a great time. The sun rises were breath taking. Thank you Fred for answering all of our questions and being so helpful. I hope to return to this cottage soon!

This cottage was a delightful weekend getaway for my wife and I. Quiet and cozy with a great view of the lake. We had an outstanding time. And if you love to fish as much as I do, bring your boat and enjoy some of the best smallmouth bass, walleye and perch fishing you'll find anywhere. I highly recommend and hope to return soon.

This cottage is very charming and comfortable. The owner really put a lot of thought into the details you see as well as some you may not...like a really nice water filtration system. It seemed like everything we needed was in the cottage or on the property. There was more than enough room for our family of 4 (two teenagers). The back of the cottage has a wonderful view of the lake and gets really nice morning sun. The owner also was very helpful and made sure we had tips on where to fish, pointed our where to find things and even helped with tackel we were shy on. I have to say, we were very pleased with the cottage and would absolutely stay here again.

The work that was done on this cottage makes it a really cute place to stay. The owner has put a lot of detail into the place. Of course the Michigan weather can be fickle but the place comes with a great collection of DVDs that makes those stormy Michigan days cozy.
