Did a road trip with my two sisters to Denver in early August and stayed at the Monteray. Loved it! It was very clean, quite and within walking distance to lots of stuff. We enjoyed walking to the botanical garden and renting the B-cycles to get downtown along the canal bike path. We also loved that the place was within walking distance to some great parks for running/walking. The best part was the keyless entry which allowed us to get in and out of the apartment without the hassel of carrying around a key. Beds were very comfortable and overall it was a great stay! 100 x better than a hotel. You can't go wrong staying here. Enjoy Denver!!

Location was fabulous for us while in Denver. The owners were very helpful and the unit was charming. It was a little cool in Denver so we did partake in the outdoor patio, yet it would be a delightful space for a BBQ. Having a washer/ dryer in the unit and "basic supplies" in the kitchen was very handy. If you are a botanical garden fan there is probably no better place to stay in Denver. We will definately stay here again when in Denver.

We found the condo to be very comfortable -- beautifully renovated, older building with everything we needed for comfortable daily living. I needed a kitchen to prepare food for a family get together, and it worked perfectly. It is centrally located between Cherry Creek and downtown for great restaurant choices and shopping (in between my cooking). Loved my massage at the Aveda spa just two miles away. The owners were very prompt with responses and pleasant to deal with.

My husband and I have stayed at the Monterey on two occasions. We stayed there for an extended visit when our granddaughter was born last December and again for a visit this summer. This condo is extremely comfortable, clean and convenient. It is well stocked with everything you will need in the kitchen, bathrooms etc. I always sleep so well in those comfy beds! The owner and manager are very prompt in responding to any requests and lovely to work with. We will definitely stay there again in the future!

Cute, clean & well-furnished condo

My parents and grandmother stayed in this condo for my sister's wedding weekend. The condo is exactly as pictured, down to the beautiful decor. What isn't pictured is how "home-y" and well-appointed the condo is- down to little touches like hot chocolate & cereal in the cabinets and shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathrooms. The condo is CLEAN and it was the perfect place to stay for a few days. The entire building is air-conditioned so walking in from the hot August temperature, you're immediately met with cool air. The condo has an individual thermostat so you can change it to suit your preference. Owners were very responsive to emails and questions. Would definitely stay here again when in the Denver area.

This condo was everything we had hoped it would be! The location was walking distance to the botanical gardens and bike rentals. Only a couple of miles from the fantastic Denver Zoo and wonderful shops and restaurants in Cherry Creek. The condo was nicely furnished with comfy beds and bedding, a new kitchen with great appliances and two updated bathrooms with plenty of towels and great showers! My husband and I enjoyed having early morning coffee in the cute little courtyard. We will definitely rent again when we are in the Denver region again.

Stay at a hotel in Denver??

We would choose the "Monterey on York" over Marriott any time. The location is just minutes away from Cherry Creek Mall, great restaurants, the ballpark, and downtown--which was very accommodating. The condo was exceptionally clean and well prepared for weary travelers--the linens were top quality and so nice, the beds were "out of this world" comfortable, the furnishings/decorating were tasteful, the owner was so helpful and gracious, and we wished we could have stayed longer. We had fun in Denver, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Monterey.
