We had a snowy April stay, but the wood burning stove kept us warm. Jackie was very attentive and responsive to all of our requests. She made sure our stay was enjoyable. Wonderful walking trails, very private, and a well equipped kitchen. We loved it.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

What a fabulous cozy cabin. We loved getting away at the "No Phone" cabin. We had our boys and niece and nephews come along with NO electronics! It was a great time to bond, play board games, enjoy each other's company with no interruptions. This is a great way to unwind and enjoy nature. The weather was great, we caught fish and had a fish fry on our last night. This place has everything you need with cute vintage decor. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The photos for the No Phone Log Cabin are dead on. Everything was clean and ready for us on our arrival. Jacki was a pleasure to work with and always prompt in returning phone calls and/or e-mails. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing location to unwind from a hectic lifestyle. The only problem with recommending this cabin, though, is that we may have a more difficult time finding an open week! It was also a great location for our small dog to enjoy the freedom that he normally doesn't have at home. Hated to leave.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway.

Eight of us (6 adults and 2 children ages 4 and 6) stayed here from 6/15 - 6/18 for a short getaway from the everyday hustle in the cities. Jacki was very easy to work with and does a wonderful job making you feel welcome to use their cabin. The pictures do not do it justice believe it or not. Definitely exceeded my expectations. We were able to have bonfires, fish, birdwatch, grill, butterfly hunt, go for walks, laugh and enjoy being with family. It's close to downtown Frederic and Siren if you need to get supplies. The boat launch is a short drive from the cabin. Sleeping arrangements were good and the open floor plan really worked for all of us to sit down and enjoy meals together. The cabin has plenty of seating to accommodate larger groups but would also be fine for 1 or 2 coules. My wife is already asking if just her and I can go up alone with our dog to get away again. I told her, "of course we can" and we will be doing just that! Look forward to staying again :-) Thanks much!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Wonderful relaxing, refreshing, and quiet. My husband and I spent a week here, it was just what we needed. We walked, took the paddle boat out, enjoyed the stars and the full moon, read and we rediscovered the joy of "being" instead of "doing". Beautiful cabin, beautiful place. Thank you so much!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We rented this BEAUTIFUL cabin to get away for a few days with our kids/their spouses and grandchildren, and also brought our dog, Taylor. It was PERFECT! Our oldest grandaugher caught fish off the dock, the youngest grandaughter jumped in her jumper-roo on the lovely lawn, while gazing at the lake and trees, and Taylor the dog learned how to swim off the dock. We did the paddleboats, canoes, and the our kids tubed and did some fishing from their boat. At night we had bonfires by the lake, while the fireflies blinked all around us. Lots of room in the cabin for all of us-so playing games was also alot of fun. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners.

What a wonderful place to getaway to!!! The description of the property and accommodations was very accurate. We have stayed at many rentals "up north" but this was the most clean and well kept out of any of them. Jacki & Christian's communications were always very pleasant, made us feel welcome and answered any of our questions up front. Definitely a 1st class experience we would recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all. We will definitely return again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The No Phone Log Cabin is a wonderful place to get away!! There are a ton of things to do while you're there, however our favorite thing to do was to just "be". The listing was right on, the cabin is even more beautiful than the pictures. Very well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the secluded location, lake front views, wood burning fireplace, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, 4 season porch with rocking chairs, hearing the call of the loon, seeing the wildlife in the yard...to name a few. We were awakened by a symphony of songbirds and lulled to sleep by a chorus of frogs. We spent our days talking, reading, napping and taking a ton of pictures. If you are looking for the "up north" experience, this is the place for you!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is our second stay at No Phone!! cabin. Our first stay was in the middle of summer and this time we tried the winter scene. It is beautiful even in the middle of the winter! We tried ice fishing, walked the trails of Mckenzie Wildlife area, which we discovered this visit, is right down the street! Very private and peaceful setting. We would highly recommend it. Thanks again Jacki and Christian for a great visit!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Experience Number 1 Last winter my significant other and I enjoyed the tranquil winter atmosphere of the Clam Falls area. We hiked through the snow with our dog, Abby, in the nearby preserve and cross country skied a few miles down the road. But nothing was more enjoyable than snuggling by the fire at night with a glass of wine. Experience Number 2 The fall leaves were close to peak, the air crisp and cool. For a group of seven friends and golfers, it was a near perfect weekend. Our gorgeous log cabin was located centrally to Spooner, Siren and Cumberland courses. Lots of laughter and fun! Thank you, Jacki and Christian for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed a fantastic long weekend at the cabin in August 2010. Our family had a great time swimming, canoeing, sunbathing, sitting by the campfire and generally just relaxing. The cabin is beautiful - exactly what we picture when we think of a peaceful log cabin vacation home. Jacki and Christian were very organized and everything was ready for us when we arrived. The cabin is well-equipped with all kitchen supplies, extra linens and towels, lots of board games, etc. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape the hectic life of the city for a peaceful, secluded getaway. We look forward to returning. -Kari and familyRecommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed at No Phone!! Log Cabin the last week of July and absolutely loved it! The log home itself is beautiful, lots or room, and is very clean. The property is very private and secluded with beautiful views of the lake. Great fishing right off the dock! The owners were always very prompt, nice and very helpful with any questions I had. We would definitely rent this place again and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing, peaceful, private setting for their vacation.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed over the 4th of July week and watched the fireworks from the dock. The first couple nights were very hot; however, with the ceiling and box fans that are provided the cabin stayed comfortable to sleep in. The setting is very private, with an easy walk to the dock. We have a 16' boat with a 75 horse and were able to knee board and tube on the lake, touch too small to ski. The landing is very nice with good concrete and nice depth. My wife's Grandparents spent some time with us and had no problems going from cabin to water. The owner's and caretaker did an excellent job making sure we were very well taken care of.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is a wonderful property! My husband and I took our dog Barron for a long weekend, and we had a fantastic time. The dog loved running on the frozen lake, there are very few properties around so it's really quiet and private. The cabin is really nice and cozy, but also roomy. The owners made us feel really welcome. We have nothing negative to say, only positive things. We hope to be able to rent again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/3
