  We had a great time staying in this unit. It was a super clean, new, comfortable, and the grounds were beautiful. My husband and I had our infant and my parents with us and there was plenty of room for all. The pack-n-play was great for our child and having the 2 master bedrooms were awesome. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies so it was nice to be able to eat in to save money. There is a beach closet in the unit with all kinds of beach toys, boogie boards, float toys, cooler, wagon for the beach\pool etc. This was very helpful. The unit has a view of the mountain and the ocean. Sitting on the lanai was very relaxing. The owner is very attentive and helpful with any questions or concerns. This was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

  Stayed at a condo in the Honua Kai for 9 days in January. My wife, myself and another couple enjoyed the condo and the surronding area. We were very surprised by how big and luxurious the condo was - pictures don't do it justice. Very clean and well maintained.Would definitely recommend this condo to friends, and we hope to return ourselves someday. Lots to do in the immediate area including several world class golf cources. Lots to do in Lahaina just a few minutes away.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

  From the minute we walked in the door, this property took our breath away!! It is a 5 star property right on the beach, with a gorgeous view of the mountains and ocean . The photos shown do not do it justice as you can not capture how perfect everything was with this condo. There was not one thing lacking, the kitchen was supplied with everything you would need, as if you were in your own home! It is kept spotless! The owner was very helpful with any questions we had and we felt very welcome staying there! It is perfectly situated between Kapalua and Lahania as we spent much time in both of those places, and we were 5 minutes from either. There is fantastic golf courses nearby and the Best Restaurants! Having a good washer and dryer was invaluable to us. The huge Lanai was a pleasure and every morning we started the day by opening it all up to let the fragrant air in. Actually after a few days we felt like we lived there and did not want to leave! I really can not say enough about this beautiful condo and the experience we had, now that we are home we are all saying it was the Best Holiday we have had! and This particular condo contributed to our perfect trip!! You must go and stay there!!!!

  We had a wonderful 10 day stay at the Honua Kai. This is a gorgeous new resort with all of the amenities you could hope for. The condo we stayed in was clean and well equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. It was the perfect mix of pool time and relaxing on/walking the beach. There are several pools on the property, which was great as we never felt crowded as we enjoyed lounging poolside. We saved quite a bit of money going through VRBO for the same dates on a similar unit that a travel agent came up with. Chris the owner of this unit was great to work with. He made the process incredibly easy. There was constant communication and he answered any questions we had along the way. It was helpful that he had a list of suggestions on dining, activities, snorkeling spots etc. We used several of his suggestions and had a great experience. We would have no problem recommending Chris’s unit (and the Honua Kai) to friends and family. We look forward to coming back to Maui and will definitely be staying here again.

  This is our second time at the Condo and we were as pleased this time as we were the first time. The condo is even more beautiful than pictured on the website. The "beach toy" closet is well stocked as is the kitchen. We could not have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend this as the condo that you choose for your Maui stay.

  After reviewing and searching through many many condo rentals, we settled with Honua Kai. We couldn't be more pleased with our selection. Our rental unit was in a perfect location with the ultimate view. From our lanai we had an amazing view of both the ocean and the mountains. Our unit was a two bedroom corner unit. You do not necessarily need to be on the top floors to get this best view; the view from the 4th was perfect. The owner consider all details to make our accomodation worry free and provided as many details as possible prior to our arrival so that we were prepared. The beaches and snorkeling were priceless. Great restaurants and attractions can be found near by. A perfect location for a memorable vacation!

  From the moment you walk into the lobby of the resort you know you have arrived in paradise. The resort and the condo far exceeded our expectations and my family couldn't thank me enough for selecting such an incredible place to spend our vacation. Chris was great to work with and the condo itself is fantastic, even better than the pictures. I was a little nervous traveling with our one year old, but all of the amenities in the condo (from the pack-n-play, booster seat, pool raft, books, etc.) made it so easy. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the items needed to cook your meals, and Times grocery store is just a short walk away. I absolutely recommend this property, especially for families, and I cannot wait to go back myself!

  We just returned from spending a week in paradise! The condo is amazing! It exceeded my expectations. My favorite part was the huge lanai. The view was great! You can see the ocean and the mountains. We saw a lot of rainbows. The resort is beautiful. Our kids loved the beach and the pools. Our 3 year old went to the kids club a couple times and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend staying here. I know we will next time we go to Maui!

  I would highly recommend staying at Honua Kai. I spent hours & hours comparing resorts. We usually stay south of Black Rock because of the beaches and walking path so to find both of those desired elements at Honua Kai was excellent (the sand was so soft and the walking path runs all the way from Honua Kai down to Black Rock and then you can cut through the Sheraton and continue all the way down to the Hyatt). Add to that the beautiful grounds, great pool areas, very large units that were so well furnished with some of he top of the line appliances. It was a dream come true. This unit has a lanai that is so large and has great views-from one end you look towards the ocean with beautiful palm trees and from the other end the view is towards the West Maui Mountains and we often saw rainbows forming in the distance. Perfect for an early cup of coffee and a quiet prayer time. This resort is within walking distance to a grocery store and coffee shop. The location is perfect for driving up to Honolua Bay and snorkeling or drive down to Lahaina and go shopping. The owner, Chris, is very easy to work with. His description of the unit and pictures are very accurate. Just pick your dates, according to the units availability, send him an e-mail and he responds very promptly. I would definitely stay here again!!!

  We stayed in this lovely condo for one week and found it was the perfect size for a family of 6. It had great views of the green mountains from one direction and the blue ocean from the other. It was clean and well kept. The kitchen was stocked with lots of condiments which was very helpful. Also we used the beach chairs and towels when we went out and snorkeled which was so convenient. The lanai patio is a huge plus. It is much larger than many other units and we ate breakfast and dinner daily on it enjoying our awesome view. The pools were large and had alot of people in them but didn't seem overly crowded. My son loved the water slide. We enjoyed Dukes happy hour pool side which was nice. The beach was wonderful. There is a reef 20 feet off the beach that goes down past the Westin and is one of the best we have snorkeled at. I would also recommend renting snorkel gear and paddle boards from right across the street. The only draw back of location is the tradewinds can be strong some days. I would stay here again and the owner Chris was always willing to answer any questions I had. It was a great....beautiful location with comforts of home.
