My husband and I just got back from Condado. We loved the apartment, which by the way, looks exactly like the picture. It has a panoramic view of the ocean with sliding doors which open almost entirely to the point where you have full frontal to the balcony. The breeze was so wonderful that we never turned on the air conditioner. There is not a swimable beach in back of the complex but is a short walk to the left or right of the place to find your beach home for the day (we preferred the beach to the left when exiting the lobby, ). They supply beach chairs so you won't have to pay the $5 fee per day. There is a mini-mart, pizza place, peurto rican cuisine, casinos, all in walking distance. There is even a Walgreens a few blocks away if anything is needed. Bus fee is 75 cents if needed or cabs swing by frequently. Old San Juan is a 10 minute ride and well worth a visit. If you like a great ocean breeze and easy walking access to everything, this would be a great place to visit.

My fiance had a fabulous stay in this condo! It was actually better than described! The ocean is literally below your you balcony! Alfredo (the owner) was great. He answered all questions ahead of time and gave us all the needed info ahead of time. He is also readily available at any time, if needed. What we loved about the condo: crashing ocean waves, AC to cool us down (when needed), incredible views/huge windows and doors that opened wide, big, comfy bed, CLEAN, nice beach towel and bag, parking, rental car company across the street, 24 hr door man What we would recommend in the nearby area: La Concha Hotel - nice bar, beautiful pool, nice restaurants, and the concierge helped us plan a day trip (even though we were not staying there)! Other great restaurants in walking distance: Casa Lola; Ummo, Orozco's (get the pork!) This is a great place for a couple! We always felt safe - even walking home late night. We could walk to beaches and many things nearby, and we really enjoyed everything about our stay.

My husband and I stayed at this studio for 5 days in October of 2011. The studio was absolutely perfect and exactly as it looks in the photos. The place was VERY clean and the view was spectacular. The studio is very quiet and peaceful with a very relaxing bed. The studio is updated with all the items you will need to enjoy your stay. We had a wonderful time and Alfredo was more than willing to assist us with any needs. The studio is located in the center of all the attractions.

This is the place to stay when you're staying in San Juan. Breathtaking views of the ocean, sounds of the ocean waves, night life; this place has it all. I decided to surprise my wife for our honeymoon with a trip to Puerto Rico. When she first walked into the condo, the view just took her breath away that she started to cry. With that reaction, I knew I had chosen the perfect place for our honeymoon. The place is much better than it is described and the property managers were very professional. They even saw to it that there were white roses and bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. The security guards were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Everything is close by the condo. Beach, casinos, stores, shops, spas, restaurants, Avis and Enterprise car rentals. You name it, its on Ashford Blvd. Public bus takes you to Old San Juan for 75 cents. The buses only take quarters, so be sure to bring some quarters with you. We took a taxi to Plaza de Las Americas, one of the largest malls in all of Latin America. And it was only 15 min ride from the condo. Words cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay in Puerto Rico. My wife and I both knew that this was the best vacation we would ever have and nothing else could ever compare it. Thank you Alfredo and Patricia for allowing us to stay at the condo and we cannot wait to go back and stay at the condo again.

At first I was scared, since it was the first time my partner and I traveled after our marriage and as a couple. I was unsure if Alfredo would accept a gay couple. To my surprice he was extremely open and generous. The room met all our needs and was beutifully adorned. The area had tasty restaurants and a delightfull afterhours scene. Alfredo pointed beutifull places to explore and was kind enough to mail several items we left behind. Look forward to returning to PR and enjoying its beuty and wonderfull people.

This was my second trip to PR and was looking for a nice relaxing spot in the metro area. I stayed in the Hotel San Juan in Isla Verde my first time, which was great, but a little expensive. My husband and I found this place and from the pictures and good reviews we decided to give it a try, plus it was definitely in our budget. Once we arrived there we were blown away! The place was absolutely stunning and breathtaking. The view from the ocean was everything we were hoping for and more! We really enjoyed sitting in the balcony to watch the sunset with a cold drink! Plus it was very peaceful and quiet ( unlike the hotel san juan which was always crowded). The place was impeccably clean, something my husband really liked since he can be a little OCD with cleanliness. I loved being able to walk around the area of Condado and specially the Hotel la Concha, which was right next door so we were able to go grab a drink and dance on those nights we felt like going out. The restaurants and boutiques around the apartment were also great! I will definitely be coming back! The owners were really nice, friendly and accommodating, loved dealing with them and cant wait to go back!

Alfredo and Patricia seem like honest people when you first contact them and give them money, but after that you take your chances. Much of the apartment is as they claim. The difficulty came when a problem arose. They were non-responsive and useless at this point. For our honeymoon, we stayed Wed-Wed, and when the air conditioning began to fail on Saturday and completely quit on Sunday morning (blowing smoke instead of cold air), it took until Tuesday evening (after many emails and phone message--they almost never answer their phones) to get any action on their part. Patricia showed up with a repair guy who worked about an hour and got it running again (after replacing the burned electrical part), but it still did not blow cold air. 2.5 days in Puerto Rico without A/C is miserable, especially at night when the ocean breeze dies down. Patricia showed up with their young son, so out of courtesy, I did not talk money in front of him and instead sent an email. That was a mistake on my part because they did respond to the email until after they knew we had left Puerto Rico, and they still will not answer their phones or return calls. We very politely asked for a refund of some of our money just for those days without A/C. We gave them a lot of money and are simply asking for a fair refund of some of it. They ignored our request for a partial refund from Monday until we had left on Wednesday (they knew when our flight was, and they replied only after they knew we would already be at the airport). Instead of offering a reasonable compensation, Alfredo in his email response accused me of lying about the A/C being out for so long (although we send them emails and left phone messages over those 2.5 days) and his only offer was a free night stay "on your next visit to Puerto Rico". Really?! That's not going to happen. We photographed everything just before leaving in case they try to keep our security deposit, and I also photographed the rusted out A/C unit with its salt-laden, damaged cooling coils. Lack of maintenance is why the A/C quit working. So if you want an air conditioned apartment in Puerto Rico and want honest property owners to deal with if a problem arises, look elsewhere. I do NOT recommend taking a chance with these two. I do not expect they will answer the phone when we call, but we will keep trying and asking for a fair resolution. UPDATE: they have continued to ignore emails and phones calls for six weeks now. Beware, they are not honest.

My wife and i stayed in the apartment for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was everything that was advertised. Alfredo was friendly, helpful and responsive from the time we booked the apartment to the time we left. All the doormen were also friendly and helpful. VERY close to beach access (chairs and umbrella for rent also), grocery stores, old san juan and excellent places to eat. As many other reviews stated, the bed is very comfortable and its very relaxing sleeping with sounds of the waves crashing! We would stay there again for sure!

A very nice place to stay in beautiful Puerto Rico, small and quaint but all a couple needs for a holiday. Air conditioning was nice with average temperatures quite warm in March (and that's the cool season) and all the relative comforts of home were there. Would have been nice to have a grocery store a little closer but it has a great view of the Condado Lagoon which was fantastic to swim in. We were there for the IM 70.3 race and it was within walking distance to the host hotel and race start, fantastic experience.

We really enjoyed staying at the condo...everything worked out great. The only disappointment is the pool. There are no chairs to lay in and the pool is in the shade most of the day. Being ocean front was terrific!

We really enjoyed staying at the condo and the fact that it is completely ocean front. The swimming pool is kind of a disappointment because there are no chairs to sit in and it is in the shade the majority of the day. Other than that everything was great.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and truly enjoyed our stay. The location of the condo was excellent,( right on the ocean!), and so much was within walking distance... great restaurants, bars, several beaches and even Walgreens and the local grocery store were easy to get to. The condo itself was very clean, and was supplied with many things to make the stay easier (beach towels and cooler for the beach, hairdryer, kitchen supplies, etc). The bed was super comfortable, wifi was excellent and even the doormen were very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this condo to my friends and family. If you are to stay here, I highly recommend the restaurant Viaja Ropa which is just steps away.

Our experience at your apartment was even better than expected. We were absolutely thrilled when we saw the amazing location of the apartment and its beautiful interior. Beachfront is no exaggeration! The waves literally hit the bottom of the building and are a perfect sound to sooth you to sleep. I would recommend that anyone visiting Puerto Rico take advantage of this wonderful space for a perfect and private getaway.

This review is long overdue! My boyfriend and I stayed at this apt in March 2010 and it was perfect. It is clean, very cute and the ocean breeze that you get off of the balcony is amazing. It's very close to everything that Condado has to offer and there are several beaches in the area. Alfredo was very accommodating, even staying up late to meet us for our after midnight arrival. If I make it back to San Juan in the future, I will definitely be staying here again.

My husband and I stayed at this condo for a whole month and hope to do so again. It was clean, comfortable and in a great location. We fell to sleep in the king size bed listening to the ocean's waves right below us. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The owner was courteous and helpful, always returned a call when needed. If you're looking for a large studio, you should consider this one.

Last Christmas, I stayed a week in San Juan and fell in love with everything. The island, the people, the tropical breeze are all amazing. The apartment was perfect. Perfectly located between all the new upcoming trendy hot-spots of Condado Beach, and the Historic Viejo San Juan. Since the apartment is beach front, you wake up to the cool tropical breeze and have a wonderful view of the ocean. For an apartment this place was very clean with modern decor and super comfy bed(great mattress). Everything looks new and had no trouble feeling right at home. Had more problems pack my things to return to the mainland than anything else. I would definitely recommend this over staying at most hotels on the island.
