The Little Beach House is a charming, architecturally designed, one bedroom house located in the small Mexican village of Bucerias, just one short block to the white sandy beach. Bucerias is known for its long stretch of beach... perfect for walking, gathering seashells, and watching the birds dive for fish. Because Bucerias is located on the bay, the waves are gentle and safe for swimming. We provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and loads of beach towels.
Should you wish to relax at home, there is a very large palapa covering the front terrace where you can enjoy outdoor living amidst the tropical plants and the gentle sound of water from the colorful fountain. In the back of the house is a small pool (unheated, but refreshing), two lounge chairs, and a small bistro table with two chairs. Perfect for one or two persons.
The interior of the home is tastefully furnished in contemporary Mexican-style, with a comfy built-in seating area, dining table/chairs, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Ceiling fans circulate the cool tropical breezes. The romantic bedroom, with a queen-size bed, overlooks the pool and tropical gardens.
The bathroom is completely updated with hand painted tile, a gorgeous sink, and a large shower. There are lots of hooks to hang bathing suits and towels.
This is truly a very special place. Bucerias has often been described as Puerto Vallarta 30 years ago. There is still the feel of a Mexican village, but with many amenities... wonderful restaurants, good shopping, twice monthly "Art Walks" and easy access to local transportation.
We winter in Bucerias and will be at the house to greet you and get you settled in.

We discovered Bucerias over ten years ago and are still in love with this little village. We purchased "The Little Beach House, locally known as Casa Fandango, for its wonderful location.... and completely remodeled it. We think it is charming and hope you will too!
