We rented Casa Fandango as an alternative to the all inclusive experience that we had tried before. I found the front stoop with built in palapa, along with the outdoor shower..indoor bathroom very reminiscent of Southern African game lodges. Most enjoyable! The pool was a God save bearing in mind the humidity and was used and enjoyed frequently. I must agree with the previous reviews, in that, the location was very convenient, close to the beach, well decorated/designed while the town of Bucerias was safe and friendly. Candace, thank you for your flexibility to fit our ever changing work schedules into the holiday plan. The rates/discounts for the 2 week stay were value for money and we only have positive things to say about our stay...except for our 1 day downtown Vallarta trip. Adios Amigos S & T ..Calgary AB

Lovely and authentic get away

Casa Fandango is the perfect “home away from home” for two. As a couple seeking a week of relaxation and fun, we found the house to be as lovely as pictured and even more charming in person. Several sitting areas made for a nice variation on areas to have breakfast or sit and read. What a treat to have your morning coffee on the private outdoor patio under the palapa in your bare feet in December! The house is between two buildings and there is a small but tranquil and pretty back patio with beautiful plants. If you sit there in the afternoon you will see colorful and amazing iguanas sunning themselves on the rooftops of the adjacent buildings. The blue pool is beautiful and relaxing, although it gets very little sun so is pretty chilly water to get in. Centrally located in Bucerias, Casa Fandango is just far enough away from the most bustling area of town to enjoy the quiet, but close enough to be an easy stroll to town, shops, groceries, restaurants, the beach, and the town square. The house has security gates for safety which put our minds at ease at night, but was cumbersome and time consuming to lock and unlock each time we left the house or returned. There were several keys to manage and the heavy iron gate covering the beautiful wood doors on the front of the house was problematic in that part of the gate swung back while trying to lock it and smashed my thumb badly. So, be careful when operating the security gate! Owners Candace and Chuck were warm and welcoming, and easy to work with in arranging the details. Their two long-term staff members were delightful and unobtrusive; coming to clean, change linens, and care for the pool only when we expected them to (dependable and no surprises). Next door is a herbal shop with a friendly and helpful (and English speaking) neighbor. One short block to the left is a fantastic bakery for fresh morning pastries (wow!), turn left and go a few blocks to many restaurant choices, arts, internet, etc., one block straight ahead is the beach and the beautiful bay where you can enjoy the sand and the waves in the day and watch the sun set. Perfect!

Owner response:We are delighted folks find our home even more charming than pictured. We do our best to ensure our guests relax and enjoy their vacation. And we do appreciate the honest reviews. We want our guest to be pleased with their choice of The Little Beach House. Yes the pool can be a bit chilly in December, the coldest month here. Fortunately as the nights warm up so does the pool. We were sorry to hear the guest caught her finger in the security gate. They are, however, a necessity for safety and peace of mind and well worth the bit of time to securely lock the house.

This is a great destination for a couple. We were here for two different winter vacations the location is close to restaurants ,bus stop ,shops ,lounge chairs and umbrella to take to beach just down the street;not crowded friendly people.Interior design of Fandango is unique and imparts a feeling of freedom out back.Thanks for everything Candace !

We only wish we could stay longer. Casa Fandango has been our favouate place to stay. The privacy is very nice and the place is clean and very nicely decorated. Lot of dishes, non stick pots and pans everything works like a charm. Candace I would truly recommend this place to everyone. One morning I heard hello, it was a couple from Parksville who have rented the little beach house in December. We invited them in they looked around and fell in love with it already. Once again thanks Candace, Casa Fandango has made our vacation a wonderful experience

This is a real jewel of a place. My wife and I just spent a very relaxing week and were pleased by the privacy and comfort of Casa Fandango. The little pool is a real treat although it would be even better if it got a little more sun. The neighborhood is lovely, great restaurants and it feels really safe. Thanks, Candace.
