Not on the beach but almost. Great set-up. Friendly neighbors. Have been visiting SD/Mission Beach for 25+ years, and this is the first VRBO property that we'll come back to. Sherry is a great hostess, and very easy to work with. Unit is very well stocked with towels, linens, utensils and even some beach toys.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, pet owners, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.

I just returned from renting the condo for 7 days. Great location,. easy access to the beach. Overall a real nice place to stay. I would highly recommend this condo to my friends and family

We stay at the condo for one week in October 2011. The condo is equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. We are a family for five (2 adults and 3 teenager girls). The girl went to the beach every day. They rode the bikes and used the boogie boards provided by owners. I enjoyed daily baths in the master bedroom. The shower in the master bedroom is lovely as well. I cooked about 4 dinners during the week. The kitchen has everything you need-from pots and pans to glasses, plates and silverware. Great condo, perfect for family. Thank you Joanne!!

This place was large and had plenty of space for our large group. Our overall experience was very good. Parking is horrible, but that's just because of the area and we had two vehichles. We loved being so close to the boardwalk and the beach and loved having all of the beach toys and bicycles. I feel we got alot for our money!

This property was fantastic! It was A LOT larger then I thought it would be and everyone was comfortable. Great location--right next to the Amusement Park, beach, Boardwalk, and local restaurants. It was very clean and the master bath was nicely renovated. We were also allowed to bring our two dogs, for an extra fee. They stayed in the "mudroom" next to the garage. It was extremely convenient to take them with us and have the ability to walk them to the two nearby parks every day.

We stayed at this house years ago and still look back fondly on the memories made here. It is so close to the beach and all of the restaurants and stores in Mission Beach and Belmont Park. Although there are only 2 bedrooms, there are so many beds to sleep in that it accomodated our large group perfectly. The house comes with so many 'extras' that made for a fun time for everyone...movies, board games, LOTS OF BIKES (6 beach cruisers and 2 kids' bikes), boogie boards, wet suits, bbq grill, etc, etc, etc. There was something for the entire family.

Loved this place

We rented this place the fall of 2007 and want to get back. We used the bikes, the boogie boards, chairs...it was so convenient we didn't need to bring our own stuff and we could easily walk to the beach. My kids all think it was our best vacation, over Disneyland! I would give 5 stars but as another reviewer wrote the carpets need some cleaning or replacing.

My experience at Mission Beach

House was very close to beach and boardwalk the bikes and boogie boards laundry were truly a great asset to this house along with garage and garage opener, yet the rug was dirty throughout the house and the bunk beds were not safe for young children no pegs were found in holes that held the top bunk with the full size bottom bunk very dangerous especially with small children. The kitchen was fully stocked with all that anyone would need and the walk in closet had moderate hand towels, face cloths, bath towels etc. The bbq on the deck was great. With the cleaning of the rug and fixing of the bunks it is a great place to stay with children, did get rowdy at night both Fri and Sat yet the Red Sox and the Pats were on over the weeeked that I was there.

Owner response:As soon as the guest advised me of the problem with the bunk bed I had it professionally repaired. I will continue to check the bunk bed on a weekly basis. The carpet has also been cleaned. Joanne
