  Not on the beach but almost. Great set-up. Friendly neighbors. Have been visiting SD/Mission Beach for 25+ years, and this is the first VRBO property that we'll come back to. Sherry is a great hostess, and very easy to work with. Unit is very well stocked with towels, linens, utensils and even some beach toys.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

  We stayed here with myself, husband and almost 2 year old, in addition to 2 grandmothers. The place was great and very kid friendly!! We were able to use the pack and play in the HUGE master closet with a stand up fan and the baby had his own room!!! It was so great since it kept us from having to share a room with a light sleeper who goes to bed at 730pm. I was super happy to find that there was a baby gate we could use to protect our little one from the stairs. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to save money by eating in. We didn't get to enjoy the beach as the water was FREEZING in April, but there are tons of beach chairs, bicycles, and toys if you go in summer. The house also comes with a washer and dryer and computer and printer. If you will be using the printer, be sure and bring some paper as there wasn't any when we were there. The area was quiet except for Tuesday morning when the trash trucks come. Located within minutes to sea world and a quick walk to the beachfront. The only negative was that the umbrella stroller was very old and we weren't able to use it, so if that is something you will need, just take your own. Also, there are A LOT of stairs. The place is 3 levels so if you are with someone who will have trouble with that many stairs, you might not want to stay in a beach house. This place is great and an excellent deal on price, so take advantage when it is available. There is loads of room to sleep; we had 1 grandma in the guest room and 1 grandma upstairs on the pull out sofa. Overall I give 5 stars, our experience was great and we had a very comfortable stay!

  We had an incredibly wonderful stay here back in 2006 and have talked about the experience over and over since then. We made a lot of memories here in the week that we stayed. The beach is within walking distance and Belmont park was a hit with our children as well. The house was perfect and that was before the remodeling. We had everything we needed and Joanne was great. We were hesitant to stay anywhere but a hotel until we spoke with her. We have been trying unsuccessfully to return to the condo for the last few yrs. I am sad to report that I have not received any replies to my inquiries. If anyone is considering renting a condo, this place comes highly recommended by us. I hope to stay here again myself! Family vacations are the most talked about things in our family and I thank Joanne for giving us an experience we will never forget!

  week with my daughter, son in law and 2 yo, 3 yo and 12 yo. Seven of us. Was perfect for family, tons of space, well stocked kitchen (we cooked almost all our meals in), and so close to the beach and then a tiny bit further to the bay. Within a couple of blocks of Belmont Park, and close to the board walk. We did tons of walking and beaching. Light and lots of linens and towels. Would come back in a heartbeat.

  The condo is great, spacious, comfortable, fully equipped and in a great location. We spent a wonderful week there, enjoying the beach, the park (which is only two blocks away) and the whole bay area. The bikes were great! We had one for each six of us and rode everywhere with them. Packed with boards, bikes, videos, towels and sheets, we found everything we needed, and more! Joanne was a helping host and we spent some great days there! Thanks!

  This was my first time renting a vacation property. Joanne was easy to work with and professional which made me feel more comfortable about renting a place instead of going to a hotel. We had a slight problem on our day of arrival with getting in the door because of a broken lock but Joanne was quick in assisting us and we soon got settled in. The condo was everything as advertised! Close to the beech, we could hear the ocean at night and some of the fun activities that are close to the area such as the roller coaster in Belmont Park. The beach, restaurants, parks and other local attractions were all pretty much minutes by foot. the condo was very spacious and we loved having the two balconies off the living room and kitchen to go and just outside. Joanne has a very nice setup at the condo, well maintained and pretty much everything you need to have a good time including beach chairs, boogie boards and bikes in the garage. I was in town visiting family, my girlfriend and I just bragged about the place It definitely a nice home away from home. Ron & Sharon, Detroit, Michigan

  We were very impressed with the condo and location. The inside tri level was nicely up to date and super open spaces. The master bedroom suit was huge and the bathroom had a jacuzzi tub along with a huge standing area to shower (super nice) We had everything from linens to cook ware and grill along with two patios to enjoy the view of the beach when ever. Walking to the local eateries like Roberto's (best fish tacos I have ever had) and right accross the street the best barbecue sandwich (the big boy) I have eaten in a long time. The beach was 60 steps from the condo and super easy to the board walk. We rated this stay a 9.99 out of 10 and the only reason for that was the kitchen had a few small ants that would come out to play when food was prepared at night. We can't wait to come back next yr and enjoy another wonderfull week in Mission Beach and Jamaica court! Clint ,Charalyn and Bryndan Clothier

  I just returned from renting the condo for 7 days. Great location,. easy access to the beach. Overall a real nice place to stay. I would highly recommend this condo to my friends and family

  We stay at the condo for one week in October 2011. The condo is equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. We are a family for five (2 adults and 3 teenager girls). The girl went to the beach every day. They rode the bikes and used the boogie boards provided by owners. I enjoyed daily baths in the master bedroom. The shower in the master bedroom is lovely as well. I cooked about 4 dinners during the week. The kitchen has everything you need-from pots and pans to glasses, plates and silverware. Great condo, perfect for family. Thank you Joanne!!

  This place was large and had plenty of space for our large group. Our overall experience was very good. Parking is horrible, but that's just because of the area and we had two vehichles. We loved being so close to the boardwalk and the beach and loved having all of the beach toys and bicycles. I feel we got alot for our money!
