But it is the completely remodeled gourmet kitchen and outrageous master bathroom with tumbled marble, open glass shower and bidet that will keep you coming back! All extras are provided: boogie boards, beach chairs/towels and toys. Just pack your clothes and come!
Oceanside is a seaside community 30 miles north of San Diego and boasts the most temperate weather in the country. Besides having your own long, clean, white sand beach across the street, Oceanside is home to the longest wooden pier on the West Coast, a picturesque Marina where you can dine, rent a paddle boat, kayak or charter a fishing boat, and has a Transportation Center where you can catch local commuter trains going up and down the coast! You are 10 minutes from Legoland, 45 minutes from Sea World, San Diego Wild Animal Park or Zoo, 60 minutes from Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm and Crystal Cathedral, 90 miles from LA and the glamour of Hollywood and Universal Studios. It is a SoCal golf mecca and all Pro sports are offered here.
Yes, so much to do here...but you won't really need or want to leave that doggone covered porch overlooking the ocean! My dolphins are around almost daily. It is...heaven.

Why the Owner Chose St. Malo
Close to EVERYTHING but not next to the noise of the city or the people on the beach! We can go to relax, sit on the patio in the wicker furniture and lose ourselves in the sight, smell and sounds of the ocean. Stress? What stress?
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our beach house is situated within 60 minutes of the Disney parks, Knotts Berry Farm, Sea World, San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, Balboa Park and only 10 minutes from Legoland. We are across the street from the Pacific Ocean, within walking distance of the Oceanside Pier, restaurants and around the corner from a shopping mall. All this in a PRIVATE home, not a condo with someone above and below you. It's peaceful, calm and comes equipped with beach toys, boogie boards, table games and videos so you'll never be bored!

We purchased this wonderful 40's beach bungalow as a future retirement house and decided to share it with others until that day comes. We live in an adjacent community and it is easy for us to just come for a night or two when not rented and let the sound of the waves rock us to sleep...blue view, salt laden air, pelicans in formation and almost daily dolphin pods to view. We walk down to the snack shack at Buccaneer Beach for our breakfast burritos and eat them on the front porch while on dolphin watch! Doesn't get any better...
