  Pam, We had a wonderful vacation. Our children (10 & 13) loved the kayaking (so did Mike and I), fishing, crabbing and trying to catch the little lizards. I was fascinated by the manatee that we saw every day. My son and I were actual able to touch one. Anyway we would love to come back sometime. Thanks Amy

  We rented the month of March 2013. Kayaking was the highlight of our vacation here this year. 3 kayaks were available for use, and all the equipment was in excellent condition. Many trips up the river and out to the Gulf. Amazing scenery, schools of fish, and Manatees. The house is very livable and comfortable. Most places you rent do not have great comfortable beds like this river house. Internet, TV, appliances, all performed admirably. The house works well for people with disabilities in and around the inside. Not so well for the different levels of the deck on the river side. All in all a great vacation home.

  What an awesome place to relax and unwind! My son (10 yr old) and I really enjoyed all the natural FL attractions that were literally within 5 miles by land or just around the corner by water. We loved the ability to just jump in the kayak and paddle down to Rogers Park or paddle out to the Gulf. Pine Island Beach was great to visit for the day, along with a day trip to Weeki Wachee Spring Park to catch some mermaid action! It was difficult to pack up and leave this little piece of paradise tucked back in Weeki Wachee. We definitely plan on coming back soon. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!!

  My family stayed here the first week on January 2012. We all had an amazing time. The house is wonderful, better than the pictures. The river is astonishing. You see manatees swim by the dock daily. The kayaks were great fun for everyone. Would highly recommend this home :)

  Our mid week vacation was wonderful! We had 3 couples, our wives share the same birthdays. Each year we do a special trip together, this one was awesome. The manatees were plentiful, and the 2 seater kayak brought much laughter from the girls as we tried to balance. The house was very clean and very comfortable. The slide, diving board & fire pit were a hit. The website was very accurate & the registration process very user friendly! Can't wait to come back!

  Loved this house. Everything was clean, linens and towels are of the highest quality. We kayaked weeki wachee springs (a must do) and pulled our kayaks out at the dock. The next day we kayaked the "Chaz". We BBQ'd and we watched manatee, fish and blue crab swim by. Yes, we even went to the mermaid show, found a great little local bar and had a great time! Jeff and Pam were quick to respond to our emails. Hope to come back soon!

  The home was more than we could have expected. We had a wonderful time scalloping in the Gulf and kayaking the 8 mile run from Weeki Wachee State Park to Rogers Park. We ended each day swimming in the river off the dock and playing on the diving board and slide. We can't wait to come back next year.

  We stayed for a week in March with our two teenage sons. We all had a GREAT time! The kayaks were a terrific asset! We kayaked with the manatee, saw fish jumping regularly, watched crabs crawling around the bottom of this beautiful canal! The home was beautiful with everything that we could possibly need or want. We were VERY comfortable and felt as though this lovely place was "a home away from home"! The beds were very comfortable, the linens were of a very high quality along with the other ammenities in this place! This was perhaps the nicest vacation home that we have ever rented (and we rent two or three times a year!). We would HIGHLY recommend this vacation home to those who are looking for a relaxing place to stay with still lots of things to do!

  This place is great, Very Clean, updated furnishings and very comfortable, just like you were at home. Perfect location to just sit back and Relax if you want or get out on the water and Enjoy. We will be back again

  This house is a HUGE step above what you would expect in vacation rentals. Everything from furniture to sheets to mattresses are upscale. We will definitely be coming back during next years visit with our family. Thanks so much for such a comfortable and relaxing home.
