My family and I stayed at this incredible home for 7 nights, and couldn't have had a better vacation! This very spacious house is unique, and the pictures don't begin to do it justice! The path to the beach is much shorter than the pictures make it look, and is an easy walk, even for our older family members that were vacationing with us. The pool is decent sized, and has a large patio area around it, with plenty of chairs and tables. This home is tucked away from the business of the public beach, yet close enough to enjoy a little slice of your own paradise! We even had dolphins swim in front of the house every morning! There were plenty of extras at the home, such as towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, toys etc. Our family ranged in age from 6 months to 78 years old, and it fit everyones needs. I can't say enough positive things about this home, and our exceptional vacation experience our family had. As we were leaving, we were already trying to figure out when we could return!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our extended family stayed here last year for 4 nights. We are returning again this year for a week. We also rented the cottage which was perfect for our college graduate and her friends. The house is in a perfect location with lots of living space. We especially loved the large dining area and separate breakfast nook. We could accomodate a dozen people comfortably for evening gatherings. We enjoyed incredible sunsets on the beach. The pool was great, and the house had plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, umbrellas and beach chairs. It even had sunscreen and sand toys. We did have a problem with the BBQ grill, but it was immediately fixed so we could enjoy grilled dinner that night. The beach is in a quiet area, right next to Point of Rocks. Do be careful though not to get too deep in the water right next to the rocks. The undertow brought us in a little too close for comfort. Thanks for a great stay!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

After spending the last 25+ years renting condos on our favorite beach, we stumbled across this gem. Absolutely perfect for our family with it's great pool, perfect location and very comfortable furnishings. The cottage provided a nice escape for my parents when they needed a break from the younger group and it was clean and comfortable. After walking past this house yearly on our shell hunt at the Point of Rocks, we were amazed that we had NEVER seen it as it is hidden by the dunes and foilage. If privacy and plenty of room are what you are looking for, then...look no further!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
