The house, built in 1920, is on a large lot, which is mostly flat, but has a hillside rising up behind the house with oak trees, yuccas and other native vegetation. There is ample off street parking.
Ten years ago we had an extension built to include a second bedroom/study, and to enlarge the living room which now opens onto the deck through French doors. It is delightful to start the day with breakfast on the deck, to the sound of the birds in the trees. The house has an open airy feel to it. Early this year the bathroom was completely remodeled and the rest of the house refurbished and furnished.
There is a separate laundry room with new washer and dryer.

I live in California and I have been visiting Bisbee for more than 25 years. I promised myself that once I retired from my job in biomedical research I would spend more time there. That time has finally come - the house is ready for myself, my family, friends and visitors to enjoy.

One visit to Bisbee can be enough for some people to want to come back again and again, and that applied to me. The community is very active and social, and over the years I have made many good friends. The town has a fascinating history, good restaurants, art galleries, antique stores and many festivals.
