Why the Owner Chose Alpine
The people are great, the air is clean and the stars...well...the stars at night are big and bright!
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
Only four blocks from town, you can easily walk to restaurants, art galleries and shops. As an added convenience, there is a grocery store is located just around the corner and it is walking distance to Sul Ross State University. The Railroad Blues and Harry's Tinaja have live music and cold beer. The movie theatre is within walking distance as are galleries, shops, restaurants and bars.
Owner's Map of Alpine
Alpine is the best town in the west. We have been traveling to West Texas for 5 years and we decided we wanted to put down some roots there. This place is great for bikes, with or without an engine! The cottage got it's name after a long weekend in Big Bend listening to one of our favorite bands, The Stone Roses, so it was only natural that we should name our cottage after "Manchester's Finest". There are some items in the house that provide clues to our favorite Stone Roses tracks!
