The Playhouse is unique. Located in the gated community of Dawn Beach Estates, it is a short walk to the Westin Resort & Beach. Walk in the other direction & you'll be at Guana Bay (a local-favorite beach, bar & restaurant). A 10 minute drive brings you into the shopping & restaurants of the main town, Philipsburg.
While The Playhouse is ideal for a honeymoon, with 4000 sq ft of living space, The Playhouse can also accommodate up to 6 people dorm style. Built in the style of old plantation houses with sweeping verandas, The Playhouse has views from every door & window...ocean over there, beach over there, mountain ridge back there. And because The Playhouse is an open loft, even while inside, you're outside.
Activities in St. Maarten are too numerous to list. The Playhouse itself has a few of it's own.
The 45 foot long pool starts with a 1 foot deep lounge area (yes, put the lounge chairs in!). The other end is a plunge of 9 feet...and you can get all the exercise swimming that your heart can handle as the plunge end is equipped with a BaduJet Super Sport endless swim machine. The Badujet also has massage attachments which do quite the job. If you like, can put up the 17 ft trampoline!
The kitchen is complete & so spacious that cooking can be a family affair. I have plenty of cookbooks as well, one which is Caribbean cuisine and the grill cookbook along with the Viking grill poolside, will make for a meal to remember!
If you are an artist, the studio contains 2 large easels & several work stations. You can bring your supplies or there is a decent art supply store quite close by. I am an artist, & The Playhouse is filled with works. No such thing as an unmemorable landscape painting in this place.
And if you chose to do nothing...The Playhouse will help you get & stay in that mood as well. It's magical, soothing, inspirational, reflective, and most of all a home you'll never forget having stayed in.
You are welcome to bring your dog (only), IF Fido is well behaved. The property is enclosed & they will be safe (unless they can unlatch gates!) It's okay if you smoke. The house is so open, not a sniff will remain.
Maid service is available. Angela will come as often as you wish, but such arrangements must be made at the time of booking. In fact, I'll arrange what you'd like, I'll be your concierge, just let me know what it is when you book, and you can consider it done.

Low Season is Apr 15-May 31. 2 people at $1800 per week.
High Season is Nov 15-Apr 14. 2 people at $2200 per week.
Holiday Season is Dec 20-Jan 7. 2 people at $2500 per week.
Additional persons at $25-60 each per day (depending on season).
9% tax on total. $750 deposit due upon booking.
Parties may be subject to security deposits.
