This storybook setting on Carnelian Bay, Lake Tahoe is a place you have dreamed about. It is a unique compound of recently remodeled & decorated cottages suitable for families, reunions, groups, workshops, etc. 4 private cedar & pine cottages built in the 1920's & restored in 2007 in the Old Tahoe style with passion & integrity. Expect the sunrise on the front deck. Have your coffee with the squirrels & birds. Smell the freshness of a new day within the trees & the lake. As you indulge in the quiet time hear the sizzle of breakfast being prepared in the kitchen on the French range. Reflect at the end of your day while soaking in the hot tub around the BBQ. Have an outside game with the kids or enjoy a conversation around the original stone fireplace. The main lodge has a four poster bed upstairs & a smaller bedroom downstairs.
At the upper end of the compound is a fully self-contained dreamscape of seclusion. Separate kitchen, bath, shower & loft are accentuated by a comfortable king size bed. A small deck welcomes the first rays of morning sunrise with a second hidden deck for afternoon & evening escapes.
A soft winding path from the main lodge leads to a small one bedroom cottage with its own deck & hosting a queen bed with separate shower & bathroom. A small loft overlooks the bedroom.
The Bunk House provides rest for sleepy folk, teens, & friends. This partially divided cottage has two separate entries off of its own courtyard separating it from the main lodge.
The private lakefront beach & pier is gated with available picnic BBQ's, sunbathing, swimming, & boating. The kids will be at the tip of excitement as they search for crayfish in the crystal clear waters alongside of the pier.

Why the Owner Chose Cedar Flat
We purchased this compound of 4 cottages about 9 years ago & remodeled & refurbished them to maintain the Old Tahoe style of comfort. We have provided for multiple sitting areas & each provides wonderful beauty. The access is excellent for either winter play or summer relaxing. A large parking area provides for multiple vehicles.

My wife & I have been coming to Lake Tahoe since we were both children. We absolutely love the intoxicating beauty & smells of this dream location. We purchased this compound 9 years ago & have done extensive rehabilitation to create 4 individual, unique cottages. We have a large family with lots of children & grandchildren. The kids are always fascinated by floating in rafts or catching crawfish off the private pier across the street. And in winter they are off playing in the snow in one of multiple ski resorts very close by. Come & enjoy a memory making vacation for yourselves!
