Accommodations: Apartment, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 2 Baths (Sleeps 6)
Keywords: Apartment
Located in one of the most charming areas of the centre of Florence, next to the astonishing square of Santa Croce's church, the apartment is on the second floor of a XIIth century's building (a small and characteristic hotel particular) with only 2 apartments (this one and VRBO listing #268721). It has been entirely renovated in spring 2009, but the antique charm of the building and of it's features has been absolutely conserved and the place offers a lovely view of an ancient convent of the XVIth century from one side and of the alive and beautiful Via dei Benci on the other side, while from the terrace you can see the monuments and the Arno river.
The apartment is composed by 2 double bedrooms with king size beds, 2 bathrooms (one with a comfortable shower and one with a Jacuzzi whirlpool bath tub), by a lovely loft, with a double bed, which takes to the terrace, and by a spacious and beautiful living room with a chimney which is plenty of sun. The kitchen is open on the dining area and it's fully equipped.
In the apartment there is wireless internet connection, air conditioning in every room and satellite channels TV.

Unique Apartment in the Heart of Florence - Santa Croce
Year Purchased: 2009
Why the Owner Chose Santa Croce
We think that the area of Santa Croce is one of the best location of the centre in Florence. It is a very safe place, but it is also as much alive to let you feel at home in every corner and in every tiny street. You can eat very well just behind the corner at a very good price and never feel lost or alone. All the sites and major attractions are within walking distance, and sometimes coming home for a break after a half day in a Museum it's very nice and pleasant.
Owner's Map of Santa Croce
My husband and I are both architect and two years ago decided to restore our apartments in old buildings in the centre of Florence, mainly in the area of Santa Croce, to sell them. However we fell in love with our apartments and instead of selling them we decided to rent them so that many other people could enjoy our taste and experience a little bit of our homes. We love antique furniture but also modern comfort and facilities, and especially clean, sunny and spacious apartments.
