My family of 4 felt that our stay at Kalypso House "Elia" was truly a highlight of our European travels. The house is gorgeous and spacious, with beautiful decorative details throughout. The private bathrooms off of every bedroom were unique and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We were also thrilled with the beautiful private pool and grounds. We loved exploring the island and then coming back to the tranquility of the house. In fact, it was hard to tear ourselves away from the pool! We enjoyed walks down the beach, which is very close. A special part of the experience was Evi, who greeted us as if we were family. She was available to answer any and all questions. She gave us a number of restaurant recommendations, which were all wonderful. After I asked her about some of her favorite recipes, she offered to make moussaka with me one day. It was a wonderful experience and will be a fond memory of the trip. The dish was fabulous! We felt that we made a lifelong friend. It was difficult for us to leave, as we had such a wonderful time. We would love to return to Kalypso house one day. I highly recommend this incredible home.

My husband and I traveled to Santorini with our 2 adult daughters and their significant others. We were very impressed with Elia House and found it to be everything advertised. The caretaker, Evie was wonderful, very attentive and helpful. We did find it necessary to rent a car, as we were not close to many of the things that we wanted to see and do. The Island was easy to navigate so this worked out well. I would definitely recommend Elia House as a rental on Santorini, we were very happy!
