  • My husband and I stayed here in May and had the most delightful time at this house. First of all, it is absolutely beautiful -- in fact, the photos just can't possibly do it justice. It's a perfect combination of incredibly easy to get to -- right off the main road and a couple blocks from a fabulous beach -- and STILL totally quiet and private. The garden and patio were our favorite part... we spent almost all our time by the pool because it was just so nice to be oustide in the gorgeous weather, but basically sitting in a lovely shaded, protected "living room." There are cozy outdoor couches and chairs, a fountain in the pool, protection from the brief afternoon rains, but still outside enjoying the Florida climate. In the back, there's a little Zen garden with a Buddha fountain and two chaise lounges where I loved to sit and read. The kitchen is wonderful for cooking and visiting, and the whole house is really well maintained, spotlessly clean, and super comfortable. We walked to the beach front most nights and had surprisingly great food, enjoyed live flamenco guitar, and one night listened to a live band. There must be 30 restaurants within walking distance, and at least 5 of them are superlative (we're foodies, so that's a MUST!) I guess Fort Lauderdale used to be a big college frat spring break getaway, but now it's a really fun, clean, lively beach town. Lots of international visitors... Brazilians, French, Italians, Asians, and people from Eastern Europe. Lots of families, but plenty of young couples like us, too. We loved this vacation and plan to come back every year, no matter what!

  • This was the BEST rental property we ever had. The photos almost do not do it justice. The space is huge, the property is very clean, the kitchen is a charm, and the pool and hot tub are addictive. We spent most of our time outside and didn't hear any traffic noise from the street or surrounding areas. We are definitely coming back.

  • We spent Christmas and New years Vacations at this wonderful home. The expectations were high having looked at the pictures. We consider the house very easily lived up to our expectations. We were together with our daughter and our grandchildren. We loved the jacuzzi and the pool which has a very elegant setting in the lovely garden. The house is very well supplied with everything. There is a rather busy road outside but this was not disturbing us at all. This also means that there is only a 10 minutes walk to the beach and a short ride by car or bus to all facilities in Ft Lauderdale. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would love to come back for another vacation in this house. We can recommend this house especially as the owners were also great to deal with.

  • Our family absolutely LOVED this house. The house really made the vacation for us - we haven't stopped talking about it since returning home. The total privacy of the backyard and the fabulous outdoor rooms/furniture were to die for. The house and yard exceeded our high expectations in every aspect. We rent vacation homes regularly, and we can honestly say this is the best one we have ever stayed at. Our highest recommendation. We'll be back!
