Born in Orange Creek, Cat Island, Fritz G.H. Stubbs worked at The Nassau Guardian and Nestles Products prior to climbing the hierarchy to Branch Manager at Royal Bank of Canada in Nassau, Bahamas. He is presently the proprietor and CEO of Orange Creek Development company Limited, a multi-faceted enterprise with a number of subsidiaries in its portfolio including Real Estate Development, Rental of beach-front and private-pool villas in Paradise Island and Cable Beach, Automobile Rentals, Financial Consultant and International Import and Export Services. A drama enthusiast, Mr. Stubbs was one of the founding members of The University Players and The Grand Bahama Players Guild. He played a vital role in the humorous weekly radio production called “The Fergusons of Farm Road”, and the weekly television production “Taking Care of Business”, which dealt with the various aspects of the pitfall of a young entrepreneur. He is currently the Vice Chairman of The Dundas Centre for the Performing Arts, a position he has held for an excess of twenty (20) years. Mr. Stubbs continues to be an active mentor in the cultural, spiritual and governmental development enhancement of the Bahamian community and was a former Director of The Bahamas Christian Council and served as President to The Nassau Lutheran Church for over twenty-five (25) years. Mr. Stubbs served as the Deputy Chairman on the Board of Directors of The Bahamas Development Bank. Mr. Stubbs currently serves as The Honorary Council for the Republic of Suriname in The Bahamas.
