Wow this is so much fun. I knew it will be fun but I did not know it will be this much fun. Skiing was fun, tubing was fun, dog sledding was fun, skating was fun!

My husband and I took a spur-of-the-moment trip over the New Year's holiday and were fortunate enough to find the Hideaway cabin. The views from this cabin are amazing and the cabin itself is so nice and cozy. We spent many wonderful days sitting on the couch by the fire reading our books and looking out at the stunning views of Mt. Quandary from the comfort of the living room. Our dog, Jack, also had a great time playing in the snow and exploring the front/back yards. The cabin also has a wonderful front/back deck that would be such fun to enjoy during the summertime. And, the hot tub on the back deck was wonderful on the especially cold evenings! We also got a lot of great use out of the pool/Ping-Pong table. This was one of our favorite stays in Blue River. We spent most days/nights at the cabin itself, not feeling a great need to go into Breckenridge because we had everything we needed where we were. The only drawbacks, which are very minor, would be that there's no wireless and the phone reception out there is pretty limited. Also, there aren't any real window covering so at night you feel a little bit on display. All in all though, this was a great vacation and we definitely plan on coming back with our pup, Jack, and bringing our friends with us!

This house was the perfect getaway for us. It was up on the mountain - and yes, 4 wheel drive is a must - away from the noise of town. However, town was a quick 10-15 minute drive for dining out and skiing. The house itself was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace, the pool table and the hot tub. Pet friendly, which is important to us, as we always travel with our four legged friend. It was well equipped for cooking. On days that it snowed, people showed up to shovel the drive and the porches. Plenty of firewood, if you wanted to chop it yourself, but we chose to buy it in town. Overall, a great stay!

We came from California and met our Colorado friends for a wonderful retreat and amazing accomodations. The home was mountain style comfortable, the hot tub under the trees fantastic and the views to die for. It is just a short drive to the fun town, where we spent Saturday walking around (not too busy - between seasons) and then just grabbed groceries, a bottle of wine and enjoyed cooking our own dinner, sitting in the hot tub and visiting.

We came here for my soon-to-be-sister-in-law's bachelorette party. It was Fabulous! 4 girls just sitting around, completely enjoying each others company in a wonderful cabin with an incredible view!!! We did a little shopping in Breckenridge and originally planned to have a ladies night out in town but the cabin is so comfortable and inviting, we decided to stay in! It was, by far, the best bachelorette party ever! We laughed, ate, laughed again, and enjoyed our stay here immensely! Thank you!! P.S. We hope to be back next summer!

We absolutely loved our stay here at the Hideaway Cabin. Such a romantic place to spend part of our honeymoon. The views are breathtaking and the hot tub and fireplace was perfect. The highlight of our stay was the snowfall we woke up to one morning. There was no better way to spend a Monday afternoon than sitting in the hot tub with snow falling all around us. We look forward to visiting again in the future but hopefully next time with a family to fill up all the beds! :) Thank you again for sharing with us your beautiful home!

We had Such a great time at the Hideaway Cabin! :) It had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was wonderful and very relaxing. Saw some deer and the dog nearly caught a chipmunk! Thankfully he didn't :). Wonderful way to end the summer with the family.

Overall this place was amazing. We took part 2 of our honeymoon at the hideaway cabin in September. I never imagined I could get so much cabin for our budget. The location was private and beautiful. I loved being out of the city but just a couple minutes to drive into Breck for supper and shopping. The hot tub, pool table, huge deck, balcony... were all most enjoyed. The kitchen and master bedroom/bath were also great.

We greatly enjoyed our time here at this house and in this area. It was so nice to come "home" every day while here. We loved all the fun - pool table and hot tub. Would do this again in a heartbeat. Recommend a less "sticky" key and curtains - otherwise fabb!

Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with us. We truly enjoyed every minute we spent here! This was out more exciting trip yet as we finally saw many species of wildlife. We were completely surprised by 3 young moose one evening around 8pm that were down at the street level and grazed for awhile at the side yard of the house across the street. We were even more surprised the next morning when sitting down for breakfast around 7:30am when we saw three young moose again, this time out the dining room window between this house and the one next door. We were able to get some excellent pictures from the deck in the back. We visit Summit County every summer and would most certainly love to return to this home and would highly recommend it to others!

We really enjoyed our time at your cabin. We couldn't have asked for better views. It was a nice surprise to see snow on the mountains. The kids even got to snow tube at Peak 8 Fun Park. The super slide and coaster were great too. The downtown area of Breckenridge was wonderful with its great shops and restaurants. We spent a day at the Royal Gorge and was glad to get back to our little cabin in the woods to relax. We would love to come back and explore more of the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hideaway Cabin. Everything was perfect. Our family has made a new tradition in staying in this lovely log cabin home. It felt like a home away from home. The decor is great and we enjoyed the entertainment of ping pong. Can't wait to be back. Special thanks to Imane! Frank

We (myself, boyfriend, and several other friends) stayed in this house for two full months - January and February 2011. The house is a 15 minute drive from Breckenridge - just secluded enough to be in touch with nature and just close enough to town for all its amenities. The house has incredible views of the surrounding mountains and is quite comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen, radiant heating floors, pool table, and plenty of beds. There is ample common space and a sizeable dining room table. We came for winter sports in Breckenridge and the surrounding area, but some days, we ended up staying home because the house was just so comfortable to lounge in. It was a pleasure dealing with the rental folks. They were great about coming by to maintain the property. I would definitely recommend this spot to others; in fact, we're already dreaming of a return trip next winter!

The views are spectacular and the home is very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub. The driveway is quite steep and a bit difficult to navigate however we had no problems with the driveway during our stay. The altitude is higher than I expected and should probably be included in the promotion materials. Our grand daughter was recovering from an ear infection and the altitude really bothered her.

Thank you so much for the use of your cabin. We has the perfect honeymoon! Wome of our favorite things were the view, the hot tub, and the home like atmosphere of the cabin. Our dog Rupert also had a great time as we learned that he loves to climb mountains. We are reccomending this cabin to our friends and family and we plan to return ourselves! We so loved our time here. The view was amazing and ever changing. We loved taking pictures and watching the line of people heading up Quandary. It was a perfect place to return after a day of hiking and exploring. The wild flowers in Black Powder Pass were spectacular. A lovely soak in the hot tub and enjoying the beautiful star display each night will provide more happy memories. I so enjoyed the quiet in the mornings. We have had a wonderful relaxing time and can't wait to return. Glen & Ellyn

We fell in love with Hideaway Cabin. Nestled in the woods high up a mountain road, this home is spacious yet cozy. High end amenities only add to the luxurious experience we had while celebrating an early Christmas up in Breckenridge. We look forward to a time in the future when we can spend some time there.
