We have rented this villa the last two years - what a find! The view of Buck Island and Teague Bay is one of the best at the Reef. The Reef property is well-maintained including the pool, which is steps away from the villa's backdoor. It's obvious the owner takes pride in ownership - the villa is nicely decorated and there are many amenities throughout. Throw open the windows and the sea breezes are delightful. We found several new beaches - Grapetree, Ha'Penny and Isaac Bay - for swimming and/or snorkeling. There are plenty of restaurants to enjoy, but our favorite meals were those we prepared at the villa in the well-equipped kitchen and using the gas grill on the lanai. The owner is a pleasure to work with - very responsive and extremely helpful. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing vacation.

My husband and I met up with some long time friends to celebrate Christmas and the New Year in the Caribbean! My girlfriend had set up this lovely condo and with the owner and we couldn't wait to get here. It did not disappoint, this condo is very well taken care of and the location is fabulous. It was in a gated 9 hole golf course and we felt safe as could be. It is close to Christenstad and all the resturants and shopping....but still far enough away to be peaceful and tranquil. It is very easy to get over the Fredriksted as well and we were very comfortable the entire stay here. The pool area is very nice and right outside the back door, a few days we decided just to stay on the complex and hung out by the pool and grilled. We had one of the best vacations ever, it was the perfect way to end one year and ring in the next. The people of St.Croix were fun, friendly and full of life. I would go back in a heart beat and I would stay at this condo hands down. This is a great place for families, couples....pretty much anyone. The view is gorgeous, the complex is well kept. I really could not say enough nice things about this condo and our experience on the island. Thank you to Matthew the owner and all his help as well. He was so fast at getting back to us on any questions or concerns and suggesting places to go and things to do. It was a trip to remember and I hope to get back again soon!

We just concluded a 12 day trip to St Croix and stayed at this villa. Hands down would recommend staying here to anyone else. Location - We love the east end location, it's close enough to Christiansted to avail yourself of all it has to offer but far enough away it's a real retreat. The Communi - We loved being steps away from the pool wihich had goregous views of Buck Island and the reef. Plus the community is gated and secure. The Condo - it's very well appointed with real furniture, not the wicker that many Caribbean homes have. The condo is also very well appointed. There wasn't anything we wanted for in terms of kitchen, towels, washer dryer, etc... There is also a nice flat steen in the living room and a ton of movies to choose from. The Owner - I have rented many times from vrbo and i have to say that the owner was one of the most organized and responsive i have encountered on here. We had one small question while on vacation and he replied immediately. We would stay here again without hesitation and would recommend it to anyone looking to rent a condo at the Reef or in St Croix period. Thanks!!

My wife and I enjoyed calling this home while on our first visit to St. Croix. The villa offered all the accommodations we needed to make for a memorable and wonderful first visit to the island. Although we didn't speak, Matthew was a great owner, in that he checked in with us during our stay to see that all was satisfactory. The location was great. It was within reasonable distance to all that we wanted to experience, but outside of the touristy areas, making for a very quiet, pleasant vacation. Although the villa appeared to be older and well loved, we realized that it was all that we really needed to make for an enjoyable, relaxing stay.
Owner response:Richard, thank you again very much for your business. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and had a nice vacation. Yes, the villas were built in the 70s, but as you mentioned, ours is very much loved and cared for. We have put a lot of work into remodeling the kitchen, bathrooms, and patio, and updating the living spaces and lanai to keep it fresh and enjoyable for our patrons. We look forward to having you back in the future.

We recently returned from St. Croix. We had never been there before and were going to compete in the Coral Reef swim race. Not knowing one side of the island from the other - we shopped around on VRBO a bit before making our decision to rent from Matthew. And we are so glad we made the right decision! We spent most of our time on the East end - much quieter and less hectic than the west end. The gated complex that this unit is in - is just gorgeous, and quiet, and safe...and his villa is literally steps away from the pool. The villa is extremely clean and well kept. The owner, Matthew, was attentive to our questions and needs even before we confirmed our reservation...and he called the night we arrived to ensure we had arrived safely and that there were no problems accessing the villa....which there were not. He gave great tips on who to use for car rental and scuba/snorkel trips - all were great recommendations!! We look forward to visiting St. Croix again next year - and will definitely rent this villa!!!

My mother-in-law rented this beautiful condo when coming to visit her granddaughter for the first time. She loved it and would love to rent it again the next time she comes to visit. The owner was so wonderful to work with and very accomodating. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. It had everything she needed for her stay. Even during hurricane she felt safe and secure. Thank you!

My 16 yr old son, 81 year old Dad and myself just came back from a great stay on St.Croix. As you drive up to the condo resort you must first past the guard station and security fence then drive up the hill for about a 1/4 of a mile through the middle of the golf course to a hilltop sanctuary. The condo was very clean, well appointed with new appliances, furniture and a big screen TV which came in very handy at night. The hilltop pool was only steps away which we used every morning and then at the end of the day. The condo enjoyed the trade winds and even thought the weather is very hot this time of year (July 2011) it was very comfortable sleeping due to the breezes and ceiling fans through out the condo. Perched way up on top of the hill the views of the ocean, Buck Island and surrounding hills from the living room were breathtaking. The condo was very quiet and private, we never heard anyone. It was must be noted that the owner was a pleasure to work with, he was uncanny with his ability to respond to questions so quickly (usually within minutes) and in a straightforward manner. We were very pleased with the property and would highly recommend it to anyone as a great value.

We just got home from a wonderful vacation in St.Croix. We had never been to the V.I. and the owner was wonderful in giving suggestions and recommendations on where to go and what to do.. There are many great restaurants close by-- our favorite was The Palms at Pelican Bay--- excellent seafood and great atmosphere.. The pool is very close to the condo and has beautiful views on all sides... the only down side in there is no central air-- just window units and the window unit in our bedroom just didn't keep it cool.. The living room also stayed very hot.. Would definitely stay here again-- I just would pick the winter months.. The ownder is awesome to work with and responds right away.. Other than it not being cool in the condo- it was a great pic !!!

I just returned from a week-long stay at this villa. Located on the east end of the island (this is way more important than I originally thought) it is in the wealthy and more safe area of the island. We were two couples in our mid-late 20's. We were able to explore the entire island from this location. It is clear that this villa is used as a second home which was very helpful. Every amenity that I wanted was already provided and more. We had one snafu with the housing which was quickly solved by a call to the owner who was readily available. The group I went with wants to explore other islands but if we go back to St. Croix we will be staying here again.

My husband, 18 month daughter, and my parents stayed at this villa April 6-13, 2011 and had a fabulous time. We absolutely loved everything about the place. The villa was clean, nicely furnished and had all the amenities we needed during our stay. The view from the villa was amazing! We made use of the snorkeling gear and coolers for our outings to Shoy's Beach, Chenay Bay Beach, Cane Bay and the beaches near Point Udall. There was even a pack-n-play in the villa for our daughter to sleep. The pool is located close to the villa and has beautiful views. All of the people we met were friendly. One resident even allowed us the use of a lobster pot to cook our lobsters we had purchased from the fishermen. The owner of the villa was extremely helpful in answering any questions, answering them within minutes via email or a phonecall. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from him again. Staying here would require a car rental, being that the villa is located on the East End. However, in order to enjoy all that St. Croix has to offer, I would recommend renting a car to anyone staying on the island. To end, we loved our stay in the villa along with our entire trip to St. Croix. This was my second trip to St. Croix and I hope to have many more! Thanks for a nicely equipped villa that exceeded our expectations. When we get the opportunity to visit St. Croix again, we most definitely would stay again at this villa!!

My wife and two daughters (mid 20's) stayed in this villa during the 2010 winter holiday. We had a fabulous vacation. The owner was easy to work with and provided lots of good information in advance of our stay. The villa is in a great location, safe, private, provides great views, and has all of the essentials in the unit and the kitchen. It also has a great movie collection and we watched several movies we had not yet seen. Beaches were convenient and we played tennis just a walk away. Although we spent most of our time at different beaches on the island, the swimming pool at the villa is very nice and provides scenic views. There is so much to do on the island. We enjoyed worship at the local Lutheran church in Christiansted (Caribbean/African praise music and service were great). We swam and snorkeled at Teague Bay (nearby), Cane, Shoy, and Jack beaches. Other than Cane they were all like having a private beach to ourselves. The hike into Jack beach from Udall Point was fun, and the beach fantastic. Preparing meals in the villa was great and a grill was provided. There were many great places to dine out including a nice restaurant just a stone throw away. Throw in some great weather, snorkeling at Buck Island, a visit to the fort, a walk through the botanical garden followed by a visit to the rum factory, a drive up Creque Dam Road, and of course some great shopping in Christiansted. Not enough time to do much more....and we really couldn't ask for more. But our daughters have already reminded us that there are a few things we left to do next time. The unit is outside of town and you really need to rent a car to enjoy the island, but we think the location is perfect! We are envious of the owner and hope we can return soon.

My husband and I stayed at this nice house last winter. We stayed at a few different vacation rentals on St. Croix but this one was definatelly the nicest. Nothing to compare to the other ones! The description of the house and the pictures are very accurate and the owner went overboard to help us with everything, he was very kind, helpfull and accommodating. Thank you Matthew!

We had such a wonderful experience renting this condo and working with the owner. He was extremely helpful and expeditious in answering all of our many questions. This was our first trip to St Croix and everything was perfectly described for us leasing up to our trip. Once we arrived we were surprised at how accurately everything had been described. The condo itself it lovely and very well maintained. The condo community was meticulously maintained and very peaceful. We have a 2 year old son who loved the pool and we had it to ourselves most everyday. There were also pool toys and rafts in the shed by the pool. When questions arose while on island we reached out to the owner, who promptly answered everything in detail for us. All in all we were extremely pleased with how easy everything was and how helpful and thoughtful the owner was with us. We would absolutely stay here again. I highly recommend this condo for any vacation and hope I'll be returning again!

We arrived to find the unit clean and in excellent condition and pretty much as shown in the listing. A working TV and Internet Access would have helpful and enjoyable, otherwise, it was a wonderful place to rest and relax. We especially enjoyed the access to the pool. For the one issue we did have, the owner was easily contacted and answered our questions and concerns immediately. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. We've been to the island for over 12 years now and highly recommend diving with SCUBA, renting a vehicle from Judi of Croix and dining at Rum Runners, Cheeseburger in American Paradise, Salude, Brew Pub and Kendricks.
Owner response:Steve was a great renter, thank you for the business! The TV went out as a result of a storm immediately before his visit. I offered to have it repaired during his stay, and he kindly declined, so as soon as he departed, I purchased a brand new 42" flatscreen HDTV for the living room, which has worked out very well. I look forward to renting to you again in the future.

We loved St. Croix and loved staying at this condo. The two bedrooms were very private and the bedding was quite comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and organized for easy use. The owner was kind enough to answer many detailed questions before our departure AND he even called four days before our trip to alert us to a possible tropical storm. There were several beaches on the east end, near the condo, that were great for snorkeling and we had them mostly to ourselves. Our favorite was at Green Cay, right off The Deep End Restaurant. We did a sailboat/snorkel trip on Belinda's Charters and fell in love with her personality and her ability to make us all feel comfortable. We would also recommend finding where the crab races are being held (they travel around to different restaurants) and place a $2 bet on a hermit crab you pick and name. They have many great prizes and the fun of watching the races is even worth losing your money. The Lutheran Chuck in downtown Christiansted was a wonderful experience for us four Lutherans! The music was fabulous (odd for Lutheran churches!).

I stayed at this great two bedroom condo in May 2010. It was exceptionally clean, private, and secure. The furnishings were just as depicted in the photos and not the typical worn out, beachy-type furniture one would typically find in a rental. Everything was immaculate and the views were amazing. The owner was prompt and very helpful with recommendations on what to do, where to eat, what rental car company to use, and when I locked the condo keys in my vehicle he was willing to help me get back in the condo as soon as possible. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this property and St Croix in general. It is a beautiful island with fantastic local flavor and friendly, hospitable people.

My family stayed in this property on the Reef. The view was fantastic. We enjoyed the pool which was only a very short walk away from the villa. The furnishing were wonderful. It felt like a great home rather than a vacation place. We loved every inch of the place. The breezes always cooled things down, but it never hurts to have AC backup. Most days my family was content to hang out in the villa, but St. Croix has so much to offer. The local food stores and restaurants were great. The owner was great. He retreived a highly prized stuffed animal my daughter had accidentally left behind. He was also very accommodating for our rental, allowing us to extend our time to ten days when our flight required the extra time. I would recommend this property to anyone who loves the islands and enjoys a little relaxing luxury. P.S. My family loved the movie selection.
