We had a wonderful week during our recent stay in Cashiers. Loved the accommodations! The view was fabulous! We enjoy hiking, we walked the Whiteside Mountain trail and the trails at Gorge State Park. We also enjoyed visiting Highlands and especially our dinner at The Veranda. We highly recommend this unit for your stay. The unit was clean and well equipped, no surprises.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Beautiful location, quiet with nice cool crisp temperatures for October. Everything was as advertised and John made sure everything was O.K. Great place to "get away from it all" and still have most anything you need close by. Local waterfalls were beautiful.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We had a great time at this well appointed two story, two deck condo in the trees overlooking the lake. It was extremely well equipped, clean, and tastefully decorated. Plenty to do...walking distance to swimming area in lake. Excellent restaurants/shopping nearby. The second floor covered deck was great for a having a cold drink, cooking out, reading and relaxing. We would come again. John the owner was very accommodating and easy to work with.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Last minute getaway and John was fantastically accommodating! His email made great recommendations for local meals. The condo had everything you need and more, including an easy walk to the lake. Easy drive to antiquing in Cashiers and hiking Whiteside Mountain. Great bass fishing on the lake, too. Definitely recommend the Sapphire Brewing Company for lunch after playing golf on that gorgeous course!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

It is clean, and spacious, the best was the outside decks. Slept with the sliding glass doors cracked one night, another night had beautiful fire in the fireplace. Love to just sit outside on deck and enjoy the peace and quiet. I have rented from Fairfield before but I believe John's location is better and much quieter. You can walk around the lake and just enjoy the clean mountain air. The location could not be better for a trip to the Cashiers, Brevard, and Highlands area for a couple. Awesome restaurants in the area. Had breakfast in Highlands at Freesers Eatery (hard to find little street behing Helen's Barn). Lunch at the Thyme Gourmet - (Highlands) the smell alone is awesome. And wonderful dinner at Orchard in Cashiers. Dry Falls is wonderful since their renovation. Just great getaway and reasonable priced.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

My husband and I have rented several cabins/houses through VRBO in the past several years, and this condo was by far the best for us. It is clean, light, spacious, and very well appointed. The location could not be better for a trip to the Cashiers, Brevard, Highlands area for a couple. We slept with the sliding glass doors open enjoying the rain that fell in the evenings and sat on the "upper deck" in the afternoons and early evening enjoying the "open air" experience provided by the glass "roof" on that deck - VERY cool! We will definitely be renting this condo again. A bonus is that you have access to all of the amenities at Sapphire with the rental!Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.
