Year Purchased: 2002
A long time homeowner and fan of South Lake Tahoe, I lovingly built this unique home. It was originally a 700 square foot charming 1950's cabin made of knotty pine which I expanded to this luxury 3,200 square foot house, while preserving the quaint den with the original wood and fireplace.
Why the Owner Chose Y Area
South Lake Tahoe has innumerable activities and incredibly beautiful views. Within minutes one can find Fallen Leaf Lake, Heavenly, Kirkwood, Emerald Bay, Camp Richardson, Nevada State Line with world class casinos and the beaches of Lake Tahoe. The town is rich with landmark buildings and old style restaurants as well as upbeat pubs and bars.
The Unique Benefits of this House
My home features a very large private back yard with many tall pine trees and neighboring log cabins and charming homes. Within a short one or two block area there are great pubs and shops including the renown Steamers Bar and Grill that has recently been updated. Don't miss their $2 tacos on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
